Using the Frostbite game engine allows 90% of the environment to be destroyed, including buildings, vegetation, vehicles, and even the ground itself, and more. The only real game to ever feature fully destructable environments was Red Faction a few years back (although there is currently a new version in the making), however due to the sheer lack of power in a PS2 compared to a next-gen console such as the 360 or the PS3, it was never quite as good.

Using the Frostbite game engine allows 90% of the environment to be destroyed, including buildings, vegetation, vehicles, and even the ground itself, and more. Gameplay
Obviously with destructable environments, Bad Company is going to stand out from the likes of Call of Duty and Brothers in Arms, each with similar gameplay. The only real game to ever feature fully destructable environments was Red Faction a few years back (although there is currently a new version in the making), however due to the sheer lack of power in a PS2 compared to a next-gen console such as the 360 or the PS3, it was never quite as good.
As far as the actual fighting goes, the game is, in my opinion, better than Call of Duty 4 (COD4). Obviously, I've only played the demo, however due to the inclusion of multiplayer, which you can play without any restriction, I've gained a pretty good insight into it. The gameplay is very fast paced, and extremely realistic. A couple of shots to the chest and you'll be down, and just one with a sniper and you can kiss goodbye to saving the day.
The maps are also excellent in both design and size. To put it simply, they're huge, and the inclusion of multiple vehicles, particulaly in multiplayer, is especially pleasing. When playing in multiplayer, the gamer will have the chance to use Abrams Tanks, Black Hawk helicopters and even artillery to your advantage. What is more pleasing is that the use of vehicles has been well thought out by the games developers, EA DICE, with every one realisitic in the manoevering, and also their levels of protection. For example, the US choppers are much more advanced and easy to use than the terrorists alternative. You'll also have an extremly hard time taking down a vehicle with a pistol, than with say, a heavy machine gun.
The weaponry is another extremely strong point in Bad Company. As the player, you'll be treated to a vast amount of weapons, each with their own advantages and disadvantages. In multiplayer, before each respawn, you'll have to select a specific kit. Each kit will essentially be separated by class, for example Recon will give you a Sniper Rifle and Assault will produce, funnily enough, an Assault Rifle. Within each kit, you'll also gain a series of secondary weapons. Each is extremely useful and neccesary for your survival. A personal favourite of mine is the Recon kit. In this, you'll gain a sniper rifle, a pistol, a knife and also motion sensors, which can save your life should you be sniping from the window of a building and pottentially open to flanking.
Graphics
The in game graphics of Bad Company are superb throughout. Obviously, if you're going to use a fully destructable environment, you're going to need it to look realistic, and boy, have the designers achieved this. Everything from the scenery to the weapons looks great. There are times when it's even too realistic such as when you're hunting for the sniper who just fired a shot into your leg. Due to the camoflage on their uniform, snipers can effectively sit in bushes, blending in perfectly to their surroundings. Great if you're doing it, and damn annoying if you're not.
It's these sorts of things that make BC stand out from the rest. Even the smallest of animations such as gun fire against a wall adds that further sense of realism that we've come to expect from the latest wave in video gaming.
Sound
This is another place where this game excells. Set this to surround sound and you'll think you're really underfire. The sounds of bullets ricocheting around the room. The screams of your fellow soldiers also add to this, and the sound of gunfire either from your gun, or the great big things attached to the Black Hawks really send a shiver down your spine and thanking the heavens that your not really on the end of it in reality.
Overall
Overall, I honestly feel that Bad Company has got to be the best game I've played in a long, long time, and I play close attention to official reviews of the latest games. Everything about it reeks class and I genuinely believe that EA have made the best game yet, possibly trumping any war game before it.
Advantages: fun good humoured game Disadvantages: very basic plot.
Bad Company is refreshing in many ways, one great advantage is that it doesn't try and take itself too seriously. It seems that those who have made it have done their very best to concentrate on fun. Gameplay:
The controls are much like any other first person shooter, they are simple and easy to get used to. It is fast paced and flows nicely. Even if you find yourself riddled with bullets you simply respawn seconds later a little way from the action. ... ...if you are spawned a little too far away. The other downside is you respawn with what ever ammo you had when you died, which if it is very low, leads to a lot more death. It was very fun to play with many humorous moments, with entertaining characters ( i will get to later). It's biggest downfall, if it is to be considered one, is that it is not entirely gripping, it is not the sort of game that leaves you wanting to play constantly. There is a large ...

...to the console market with Battlefield: Modern Combat in 2005 (total rubbish game but thats another story) Now the developers DICE (Based in Sweden) have come up with bad company. Advantages: Brilliant multiplayer Disadvantages: Irritating AI
You play as Preston Marlow a soldier who has just been transferred to the Bad Company squad. Bad Company is filled with soldiers who are a bunch of lovable losers that have been deemed expendable by the army. Bad Company is supposedly filled with jokes and humor although they have failed to make me laugh. The game tries to distinguish itself in the FPS world by taking a light hearted approach to shooting bad guys. Early on in the game your team discover ... ...a marking on it. And it's up to your team to discover who is paying the mercenaries and get some of the gold for yourself. The singleplayer is very varied you can fly helicopters, call in mortar strikes and drive tanks to name a few. Although there is no co-op feature, which is a shame but the singleplayer is still entertaining. A running theme in the singleplayer seems to be destructibility; just about everything from buildings to sandbanks can ...

Battlefield: Bad Company on the Xbox 360 is an awesome game.
the singleplayer story is interesting and fun to play and it can get pretty difficult in some areas of the story making it a challenge to play through.
the multiplayer is in a class of it's own with plenty of maps to fight on the ability to drive vehicles from humvees to tanks, helicopters and boats not to mention placement weapons too.
there are plenty of weapons for you to choose from ... ...rank increases.

Set in the near future, the Battlefield: Bad Company single-player campaign drops gamers into a dramatic Eurasian conflict. As part of a squad of four soldiers, players risk it all to go AWOL on a personal quest for riches and revenge. The Battlefield: Bad Company cinematic single-player experience captures the freedom and intensity of the franchise's legendary multiplayer sandbox gameplay in a dynamic world where nearly everything is destructible. Gamers have total freedom to be daring and innovative, adapting to and tackling challenges in unexpected "Battlefield-style" ways.
