...a floor damaged by a Whirlpool engineer. The reason for writing this opinion is to warn any potential purchasers of Whirlpool and the other makes they look after including Bauknecht and Ignis equipment. The Customer Service Department appear to have no idea of the concept of Customer Care. I phoned to report the problem, they had already decided that it was not there fault, but they made me go out and waste time getting quotes anyway. No concept of the customer is always right; their Engineer said he didn’t do it so basically tough on the poor customer. No one returned my calls or emails; I had to keep phoning over several days before I got to speak to someone. Then the attitude was basically tough. I do not have a problem with either appliance, but the after care service is absolutely dreadful. I will certainly never buy a Whirlpool... Read review

Advantages: Small, light and cordless
Disadvantages: Needs to be recharged regularly, has small dust bag. Cannot remove the brush in order to get into the small cracks.

...This little beauty is a great addition to the household. It is small black and stylish. As it is small it takes up little storage space. The Boss Elite is cordless so you can use it anywhere and not get tangled in annoying cords. It has two settings so it can be used on either floors or carpets. The cleaner comes with a recharger so it can be charged up permanently so that it is ready for use at any time. It makes little noise, has good suction power and is light. My mother in law (who is over 80)has found it invaluable. I think this is a great appliance for the elderly and infirm. My children love it too, so much so that I hardly ever have to do the hoovering myself!
