...absolute rubbish, the coating on the buttons started coming off within weeks, just after the labour guarantee ran out the element went. Baumatic wanted £88 for the call out, free part. the part on its own was nearly £30 but i got a generic for £12. when i took the element out the earth had never been connected. very poor quality, rubbish service. designed to break so they charge extortionate amounts of money for their service package. RUBBISH< DONT BUY BAUMATIC unless you have money to burn and can affored a new oven every couple of years. I also have a baumatic gas hob, looks great but has very poor heat control. A company with products as poor as this shouldnt be allowed to sell them at all... Read review

Advantages: Induction is a great technology, safe, clean,fast
Disadvantages: Worked for less than 3 months, no warranty in Ireland.

...This was my first foray into Induction Hobs. We were very impressed with the speed and particularly with the fine control of heating this technology gives. Everything that can be simmered, boiled or fried in a metal pot, worked a dream. The fact that the hob never gets too hot, makes for very tidy cooking and easy cleaning. The touch controls are great, no more plucking off dirty control knobs. Just remember if the hob is wet or geasy the controls stop working, just give the hob a quick clean with one of those super cloths and hay presto. There was a slightly annoying clicking noise on the lower power settings, but it fades into the backround of a busy kitchen. The BAD NEWS: The Baumatic B24 worked flawlessly for 12 weeks, then the main ring failed. then the residual heat "h" display started flickering then the cooling fan would... Read review

...Chose this hob when i was having the kitchen from hell fitted and had to wait for 5 weeks before it actuall got released on to the shelves by baumatic. £335 for it and i was absolutly thrilled as it finishes of my kitchen but unfortunatley for me it has been faulty 3 times. The first and second was the same problem with the under bench fasteners being the wrong ones and they were too tight because of the design which mad the rings on the hob not stay lit they would go out as soon as you let go of the knob but the 3rd fault was with the cast iron crosses that go over the top of the burners the right side one had a sharp pice of metal on it which was scratching the ceramic top on the base. since i have had it replaced by baumatic i have had no problems touch wood. The only other thing is even if you dont use it you have to clean it about... Read review
