As it was a replacement oven I only had to remove the 4 screws from the old one and pull it out of the cabinet - it was connected to the electricity with just a normal 13 amp plug and I did wonder if this had been a bodge job (I find a lot of those in my house) but no - the fitting instructions ... As discussed in my previous review I bought this appliance from unbeatable.co.uk for £192.00.
It is a slot in, single oven in white measuring 60cms squuare and I have to admit I panicked when I first thought about fitting it, but I have to say it could not have been easier.

Across the front fascia there is ,on the left hand side, a selector where you can choose to either use the grill, fan oven or defrost ( where the fan runs with no heat to reduce the defrost time for frozen food).
On the right hand side is the thermostat switch to control oven temperature between 50C and 250C and has next to it a pilot light which illuminates on or off during cooking to show when the correct temperature is reached.
In the centre there is a digital clock wih a row of buttons below to set the clock and the oven timer. With the added bonus of a minute minder -with an audible alarm that ,if not cancelled rings for 7 minutes - I may never burn anything again - and with any luck neither will my daughter!!!
The glass panel in the door gives a clear view into the oven and, while the oven is on, so is the light which means you can check how the food is cooking without opening the door.
As I had been without my cooker for a week I couldn't wait to play with my new one - first job, roast beef and yorkie puds - I set the temperature and switched on.
Th first thing I noticed was how quietly it runs - my old one was so noisy when the fan was on and took ages to heat up. The Baumatic achieves 200C in minutes!

Hours later - roast beef beautifully done, perfect yorkies and roast potatoes - and to test it to the limit for its first day - one dozen mince pies!!!
I think its brilliant and at a brilliant price of £192 - I couldn't ask for more - it looks good and cooks good too!!!

Advantages: worked for a while! Disadvantages: Broke after 16 months, terrible customer service
I bought a Baumatic oven about 16 months ago, and use it once or twice a week.
It now doesn't work. I called customer services and spoke to a mindless robot, who told me that although they advertise a 2 year warranty on parts, that is not applicable as I bought it from Currys!!!! Sadly she really couldn't be bothered even to talk to me.
I am disappointed which this product and the service and would recommend others steer clear
