I bought the Baumatic for the new kitchen, as I'd previously had one of there range cookers in a previous home, and that one seemed to be reliable, and was about half the price of a very similar looking Smeg model.

This one also seemed to offer a much greater range of cooking options for the price, I did miss the 'self cleaning' option of my other cooker though.

The Automatic programmer is easy to use, and it has a minute minder. The build quality is O.K. but probably not up to the likes of Bosch, Neff etc. The door is fan cooled so there's always a bit of a hum when cooking, but at least it doesn't get too hot to touch.

The one thing that really annoys me is that when on the 'fan or 'fan grill' setting it goes through a sort of resonant period, shelves rattle, and the fan makes an awful din.
On the whole then, I'm quite happy with this oven. At the price I think it's hard to beat.
