bought this as part of a kitchen installation. It's built in - under a granite worktop and is at the far end of our kitchen and it still sounds like niagrar falls - I can not beleive the noise ! The lower basket has a removeable cutlery tray which seems sturdy enough - on other models these have cracked, dropping cuttlery through to block the spinning elements - but this one seems to be made well. The front of this basket has fixed points for plates - the rear of the basket is able to be lowered to put in larger bowls or saucepans. The upper basket is adequite for glasses and mugs but even in a lowered position will not hold a medium saucepan. It does'nt dry very well at all - we use the rinsing drying agents but still get a cloudy film that has to be rinsed or towelled off.
