Baumatic BH16.5

Advantages: Beautiful and stylish
Disadvantages: it has been faulty 3 times

...Chose this hob when i was having the kitchen from hell fitted and had to wait for 5 weeks before it actuall got released on to the shelves by baumatic. £335 for it and i was absolutly thrilled as it finishes of my kitchen but unfortunatley for me it has been faulty 3 times. The first and second was the same problem with the under bench fasteners being the wrong ones and they were too tight because of the design which mad the rings on the hob not stay lit they would go out as soon as you let go of the knob but the 3rd fault was with the cast iron crosses that go over the top of the burners the right side one had a sharp pice of metal on it which was scratching the ceramic top on the base. since i have had it replaced by baumatic i have had no problems touch wood. Advantages: Cheap, Excellent Service, Perfoms brilliantly
Disadvantages: Knobs Heat Up slightly

...gridle and Wok burner. It can also run on both mains gas or canister gas. The oven heats up quickly, and seems to control the temperature very accurately, (well it cooks things in the time it's supposed too). The customer service was excellent also. The small oven did not seem to be working with ours, so Baumatic sent a man out the next day (New years Eve)who fixed it in about 5 minutes. He also gave us a new handle because ours had a slight scratch, and another oven tray. There is no disputing that there are higher quality range cookers out there, but this one does the job and looks the part at a fraction of the cost. Good Luck.... Read review
