This is a nice lookiing hob - but I dont think the glass is strong enough to be a frameless one. I managed to break the edge of the glass the very first time of cooking on it, by knocking a pan lid off a pan onto the surface ( 3 or 4 inches away) the edge just shattered ! - I was not able to get a refund as it was 'accidental damage'. To me the quality of this product is just not good enough. I will not be buying Baumatic again.
