Advantages: Works very well
Disadvantages: Plastic painted silver finish becomes badly scored after 1st use

I bought this as it was good looking and was supposed to be chrome or stainless, depending on whose site information you read. It is PLASTIC painted silver. It arrived yesterday, and on first use, cosmetic fracture lines appeared on the top of the machine radiating out from the ice cream bowl. My husband a design engineer said it is due to the heat from the refrigeration units and the cold from the freezing process, affecting the silver painted PLASTIC ... Read review
