This is a very stylish bit of kit from Baumatic. It was easy to install, and the flue extender should accommodate most ceiling heights. Our kitchen guy even commented that this is one of the more straightforward installs he has had to do, even when we requested it be set against the stainless steel splashback we had bought. The controls are very easy to use, and with its 2 x 20w halogen lights on at night, it looks very smart indeed. This is a good bit of kit, I was looking for a hood of curved glass design that had a short flue option, unless you live in London or a mansion with high ceilings you tend to have to cut these things to size, with the baumatic I could accommodate the minimum distance from hob to hood that you require. When the flue is not extended with the flue extension piece it achieves 540mm, this is a perfect height for my kitchen, and this way I didn't have to take the saw to it.
