This is a very stylish bit of kit from Baumatic. It was easy to install, and the flue extender should accommodate most ceiling heights. Our kitchen guy even commented that this is one of the more straightforward installs he has had to do, even when we requested it be set against the stainless steel splashback we had bought.
The controls are very easy to use, and with its 2 x 20w halogen lights on at night, it looks very smart indeed. The glass plinth really contrasts well with the s/steel flue and canopy, although fingermarks on the latter require judicious rubbing with a cloth. The tangential fan is not overly noisy even when on max extraction. Maintenance and replacement of bulbs and filters is straightforward and for the price, this machine appears hard to beat - we paid £115 incl delivery.
