...totally controlled with buttons, the Baumatic combines buttons with dials. Unless the washing dial is set precisely -and this is not as easy as it sounds - the machine won't work. Another annoyance is always having to remember to depress the half-load button for the drying cycle. During the drying cycle the machine makes funny grinding noises for no apparent reason. The word that comes to mind is 'clunky'. I would expect a more sophisticated mechanism ... ...is temperamental and there is no audible click when it is ready.
Please note that the review process insisted I rate the machine's durability and safety. I have no idea how durable it will prove to be. Similarly, I have no idea how 'safe' it is. Since there was no option to omit these grades, I included arbitrary ones. ...
