I had been wearing Bausch & Lomb Optima 38 soft contact lenses for about 9 years. I stopped wearing them because they really shouldn't be worn any more. Advances in materials have made this lens virtually obsolete and if anyone is still wearing these then they really shold think about switching to something else.
That's not to say that there is anything wrong with these lenses. On the contrary, I've never had any problems with them at all. They are comfortable and they don't fall out. I replaced them every year and I was wearing them every day for about 15-16 hours each day.
Why did I stop wearing them? I had started to show signs of oxygen starvation due to overwear and the low oxygen transmisibility of these lenses.
Lenses are available that are much better for the eye than these and most people wear daily or monthly disposable ...
Advantages: Easy to use, no hassle Disadvantages: Not the cheapest option
just NOT practical in that sort of situation.
So, largely for that reason, a couple of years ago I changed to Bausch & Lomb Softlens daily disposable lenses and there's no going back now!
The same perfect all-round vision and comfort with none of the awkwardness of carting around cleaning solutions and soaking them every night. Just take them out and throw them away at the end of the day and put in a new pair the next day. Perfect for camping trips! Also as each pair is individually wrapped it doesn't matter if you don't want/need to wear them for a while as they remain sterile in their packs and, according to the packs, will remain usuable for a good 3-4 years.
They come in bubble packs so each new pair is completely sterile and easy to carry around. The price works at about £1 a day - pretty comparable to the price of normal ...

Advantages: It causes no irritation to sensitive types. Disadvantages: It clumps a bit and the effect is subtle.
left it at two coats, just in case it caused a problem to my sensitiveeyes.
Even with the two coats, I have to say I was a little disappointed with the result, as it wasn't as bold as I was hoping. I can't say that made my lashes that much longer or thicker, but it did make some difference and highlighted my eyes to a small extent. I would say a natural, subtle effect.
On the plus side, this mascara actually lasts a long time. I wore it all day and late into the night and it was still firmly in place. I even rubbed my eyes and nothing came off, which is pretty good really, bearing in mind that it isn't waterproof. So far, I have also had no problems on the irritation side, even when I rubbed my eyes, so it does what it claims there.
Another advantage of this mascara is that it is easy to remove. Some mascaras are ridiculously ...
