Having lived in Weymouth for the majority of my life, I turned that age where the clothes I bought really seemed to matter! Every girl has a phase where shopping in the average shops and wearing what mummy approves of begins to become tedious. Then all of a sudden Bay appears like a shining light - a shop which sold such a variety of clothes that even my mother was insisting we go there!
... ...years, Bay has both the variety of style alongside the dress sizes. I believe the smallest size is an 8 and I have seen sizes 20+. I find this to be brilliant that Bay have created a shopping opportunity for any size, and encourage other shops to follow this.

Then all of a sudden Bay appears like a shining light - a shop which sold such a variety of clothes that even my mother was insisting we go there!
Whether you’re in your early teens or advancing through the years, Bay has both the variety of style alongside the dress sizes. I believe the smallest size is an 8 and I have seen sizes 20+. I find this to be brilliant that Bay have created a shopping opportunity for any size, and encourage other shops to follow this.
The clothes themselves I have found to be a good quality and considering their prices, I have only been impressed as the years have gone by. Such shops as Topshop and Dorothy Perkins are simply overpriced considering Bay sells similar items and just as good a quality. Additionally, Bay actually has sales rather than slightly reducing prices or selling off the rubbish with a bogof deal. I have found some superb bargains over the years, even last week actually!! I bought a suit jacket – size 12, for £7.00 reduced from £39.99! It isn’t damaged, marked or stretched, it is in perfect condition.
I have never had a problem with the quality of the products; I have always worn them out!! I have never even returned an item as the branches I have visited have always had changing rooms with polite and kind assistants. The materials themselves widely vary so there seems to be something that would suit everybody.
The shop in Weymouth however, is rather small so I never expect it to stock a huge variety of clothing. Although I am impressed with how much they do have considering the shop size. Other shops such as the Portsmouth and Birmingham one are bigger and so have more of a variety as I have seen clothing in them which hasn’t appeared in Weymouth. With the shop size in mind, I believe that Bay does have a good range of clothing according to the time of year, if not, you can always get a bargain on previous season wear!!
You can also buy jewellery in the majority of their shops, however, their range is slightly limited and I would enjoy seeing more of it. The Portsmouth branch also has a lot of footwear ranging from boots to shoes to sandals, and these are reasonably priced but perhaps a little on the expensive side. Further accessories such as bags and hats can also be found and are well priced in comparison to Topshop, but again, a better deal can be found elsewhere. Therefore, I think Bay should stick to what they’re best at…clothing.
So whatever clothing you are in need of, ranging for a simple t shirt, to a fancy top, trousers to skirts, jackets to coats… just try Bay Trading, you are sure to get a bargain!!

Bay Trading was not a shop I used until a few years ago. It is one of the only shops in the area that I live in that has clothes that I like at affordable price!! Which I think is hard to find! Each time I go in I normally end up buying something!
Bay Stocks a range of clothes tops, and trousers mainly. I think that the selection is of a wide range, but I think it could be better. In the summer months there is a wide range of bikinis at mainly £10 ... ...changing room no more no less. So you take items you don't want, or have to collect them from a rail if you have more!! I hate it, why can't they use tags!
I recommend Bay Trading!! But sometimes you will have to look to find something you like! ...

...this case DECENT, GOOD QUALITY Bay Trading items, sorry about the dodgy title but I couldn't really think of anything else! I've only really noticed Bay Trading in my local town centre recently, I've only just started shopping there too so her goes my opinion on the shop itself.
The store itself is relatively small but have been in bigger branches, with racks down the sides of the small, thin, long store and 1 single rack all the way down the middle ... ...'Bay'. Before I begin nattering, Bay Trading sells womens clothes, no kids and no male clothing and sizes vary from around an 8/10 to a 14/16. All the items that I've bought from Bay have been of great quality, the last top I bought had 3/4 length sleeves and the number '51' printed across the front. ~ It's great. The prices are also very reasonable, for this top I payed £9.99. Many of the other items are even cheaper than this which is great for ...

Bay Trading is a nice place to shop. I have found some of my most comfortable casuals here, as well as some fancier items.I love this store because the clothes I find in here are cute and colourful, and I almost always find something I like, even if I can't afford it at the time. I've found a lot of cute tops here; glitter, sequins, ruffles, you name it, and they aren't too pricey, which is always a good thing. Bay seem to do a nice range of 'this ... ...you have the patience. Bay produces an accessories range, and they have a lot of lovely belts in this season, though I've never been intriegued by the jewelry on offer. The changing rooms are walk in walk out style, which is nice as I feel a little odd making conversation with sales assistants at times, and there is a mirror outside the cubicles too, so you can get an idea of what you look like from a distance as well as close up. Bay Trading is a fresh and funky place to shop!! On the prowl for a new outfit I stumbled across Bay and decided to take a peak inside. It was very disorganised and there were some really great clothes hidden in corners or behind mountains of others.
The thing that puzzled me was what type of shop Bay actually was? Don't get me wrong i'm not completely stupid but at one side of the store were clothes charged at pretty expensive prices almost like ... ...different kinds of shoppers.
Bay staff were quite friendly but were constantly kept busy both by customers who were trying to locate sizes of clothes that even the assistants had trouble finding and also by just trying to restore some kind order to the mayhem that was Bay Trading.
I would recommend that you all check out your local Bay Trading and feel free to correct me or even just let me know what you think because it would be interesting to ...

New look is a popular shop amongst under thirtys! personaly i shop there all of the time, and am happy with both the quality of the garments and the range and choice you get when searching for specific items.
New look like to give a wide range of the latest fasion statements and also have a great stock of basics (such a jeans for every occasion and budget, and plain t's and hoodies).
Although most of the new look garments, in my personal opinion are slightly over-priced, they offer such a good service with well organised and layed out shops and very friendly staff.
New look is a great shop if your looking for an in-style garment or accesorie and have a slightly bigger or more flexible bugdet; i would place new look as a shop equal to those like; miss selfridge and baytrading. ...

having a look at if you have already. River Island offer a huge variety of different jeans and casual trousers. Their evening range seems to have also expanded.
Better Shop Layout~~
Is it just my local Topshop/New Look/BayTrading etc etc where clothes are strewn carelessly across the floor?! River Island seems to eb the only shop which doesn't:
~Over crowd the rails
~Pack as many rails in a possible so you can barely squeeze through them all
~Let clothes fall on the floor
~Allow damaged clothes to stay there
The shops are all well lit, well presented and are just generally a nice place to shop in. ...
