Advantages: Helps to stop hair growth. Disadvantages: Needs patience and constant treatment.
...The buying decision.
I was skeptical to say the least as to whether a machine of this nature works. I had heard the expression "electrolysis", and knew that beauty parlours practice successfully the art of hair removal by this process. However, if machines were made that were effective, how come so many were on sale at such low prices (less than a tenner) on Ebay ? This raised questions in my mind, although I decided that the problem that I have was important enough to risk the small amount involved. There were several makes available. I didn't like the look of the "One Touch" make, because quite frankly it looked flimsy and unprofessional. The Beautiko product was well packaged, looked professional, seemed to have the best set of instructions, and I liked the portability of the machine, packed in a neat zipped wash bag, giving a choice...

Advantages: Is quite gentle and doesnt hurt Disadvantages: Takes a long time

I also think its effectivenss varies from person to person depending on skin type so if you olive or dark skin or want to treat light hairs then it may not be the product for you. I have also in the past had electrolysis treatments and wish I had of tried this product first (electrolysis can...

Advantages: erm.............. Disadvantages: lengthy, painless-yeah right, awkward to use

Yeah, so it's expensive but I guess it would be worth it. Then I was browsing through the catalogues as you do (who can resist??) and I noticed Feminique. I mentioned it to my mother as something I intended on buying when I saved and stopped spending. At £20 it seemed a bargain for a painless and effective hair removal system, as it so clearly said on the box.
Well, what I received was basically a more expensive...
