For a more sophisticated read Advantages: Lots of advice Disadvantages: Too many affordable buys are given making it difficult for shopaholics to chose from! Red magazine is THE read in my opinion for a more sophisticated read. Articles are not only more relevant to today but also aims at real woman, and their hectic lifestyles! Food and nutrition, always a must read - always has the most up to date ideas of healthy living and the way in which you can incorporate this into your life. These writers know their stuff....probably living hectic lives they realize we can't all spend 5 days a week working out ... ...best buys, and buys often for under £20 - thats right, they managed to find best buys that are worth shouting about and they are even sharing it with us! Bella Advantages: Good reading , True stories and a crossword puzzle to pass the time with Disadvantages: To many fashion pages I have been buying Bella now for a very long time ,it must be well over 17 years, and have always enjoyed most articles,I love the crossword and I get very annoyed if my husband reads it before me and he is not allowed to do the crossword puzzle. But something has changed with Bella and we have an awful lot of fashion avertisementsin it these days . I like to read the Real Life stories,Rita rogers,Health and the cookery pages. Get Real! Advantages: Cheap and Cheerful Disadvantages: News of the World articles ...cover. The magazine is called Real and its logo is an italic R in various colours depending on the mood of the editor situated in the top lefy hand corner. The usual waif like models in floaty dresses adorn the front cover and catchy titles promising to bring you the latest in celeb style and must have autumn accessories plus Real Life Stories. Placing a pound on the counter I mooched out of the newsagents and went to get a latte. I intepret the ... ...possibly with a husband and a famiy but accomodating enough for those that don't. Its offers fashion advice for the working woman who maybe doesn't have the time to trawl through a monthly glossy edition of say Vogue or Cosmopolitan. The first couple of pages are the contents pages and the editors letter, which I always find sligtly patronising no matter what magazine I'm reading, then there is the reader's letters which I always find rather dull. ... Hair Ideas Magazine loads to choose from. Advantages: Good value, loads of styles to choose from Disadvantages: you may not find a style you like ...your looking for a new hair style then this has got to be worth a try. Theres loads to choose from and all the styles are very in season. There's section for different hair colour ideas, different lengths, up do's, and a few more. There's celeb hairstyles and usually the more recent ones. You''ll find this on sale in most good newsagents and sometimes you'll even find it in the hairdressers. It costs around £3ish and will have over 100 hairstyles ... ...to have when you feel like a change as you can pop it in your bag and take it along to the hairdressers with you, so that they know exactly what style you want and as you choose it there'll be no nasty shock if your deciding on something radically different. If it's just a colour change you're after you'll also find this seasons in trend colours. Alternative Remedies Advantages: Variety of ways in which you can deal with problems Disadvantages: Will need to be updated regularly People believe that health and beauty are two different things but in reality they are not! Although beauty can be found in deth of plants no one thinks that a dying person looks their best especially if they're terminally ill ( cancer or aids). if anything inorder to be beautiful, we need to take care of our bodies inside and out. There are plenty of old wives tales that are out there, in regards to different remedies for the body- and Im more ... ...the question I want to ask is why don't we use these remedies instead of all the new cosmetics and cleaning products out there? I found that with this magazine like so many others, you get advice which seems rather unrealistic if you lead a busy life.
