Advantages: The Two seperate pairs of pads, range of settings and a sweat free work out Disadvantages: The straps aren't suitable for securing the pads to your stomach
...with disproportionate muscle tone.
This toning device has varying settings of power ranging from 0-9 which allows you to control how strong your "work out" is going to be. It also enables you to use a lower setting of power for the more sensitive parts of your body that may not need as much attention for example your triceps and biceps.
The only fault I could find with The BeautyWorks LEAN Machine is that the straps provided with the kit aren't really suitable for securing the pads on your stomach which means I find I have to lay down and hold them in place for them to work without hurting me or sliding off,
Due to this reason some of you may wish to either look at buying a BeautyWorks fitness belt if you're mainly interested on slimming down around your waist or perhaps you might want to consider this kit solely as a way to tone up your legs and arms...

Advantages: Tones up saggy muscles Disadvantages: Takes a while to hook up
...I wanted to tone up muscles that was in bad shape due to loosing and putting on weight over the years. I knew I wouldn't have the motivation to slug it out in a gym all the time, never mind the ridiculous prices they charged, and the super fit users.
I had been eyeing up these slim gyms things for a while a decided to take the plunge when I had some spare cash about 2 years ago. I bought mine from Argos, and spent about £40 on it.
When I opened the main box, inside was a purple brief case that contained everything. The main unit, elasticated belts to strap around the body, conductive gel, leads, mains, and the pads.
The strange thing about this machine is that is comes with 6 belts, but only 5 double socketed leads, and 10 pads.
It comes with full, concise instructions, which I would strongly recommend that you read, as the pads...

Advantages: It really works, great for toning hard to tone areas like lower abs Disadvantages: very fiddly to set up, takes time to get used to the sensation
....
The areas I find it works best on are; inner thighs, especially just above the knees, the buttocks and the lower abdomen, all of which I find difficult to tone with normal exercise. I also use a Slendertone Max belt and this is great for the upper and mid abdominal muscles but the Slim Gym can access the very low abs that otherwise can get flabby and are extremely difficult to tone, well at my age anyway. I often lie down and relax for an hour or so using my Slim Gym, my Rio Arm Toner and my Slendertone Max Belt. I emerge from the mass of straps with a toned and firm body!
The intensity control on the Slim Gym, is designed well so that if you turn the machine off on the max intensity setting, when you turn it on again you have to reset the intensity. This saves you from getting a nasty shock that has you jumping in the air and screaming like...

I am a huge fan of the Katamari series, so the woeful events that I here describe make me sad to my core.
Beautiful Katamari, the latest descendent of the series that started in Japan only with Katamari Damacy, has hit the Xbox 360. The gameplay, it's more
