...We bought our Avent sterilizer as I wanted to sterilize without using strong chemicals that made baby bottles smell like swimming pools. I chose a steam steailizer as I beived that the high temperature of the steam would thouroughly kill all bacteria.
I have been very pleased with the Avent one I bought. It is quite large but isnt an isore in the kitchen, infact it looks quite trendy! I can fit 6 9oz avent wide neck bottles in the sterilizer as well as a few dummy and all will be sterilized with a few minutes. When my daughter was little this meant only sterilizing once a day for enough bottles for a whole days feeds. Now she only has three bottles a day (6 months old) so we have to sterilze only once every two days (sterilized bottles keep sterile for 48 hours in the fridge)

...of the car. There are also straps that go over the baby to make sure they don't roll about. On the base of the carrycot are air filters so fresh air can circulate and the rain cover completely covers. After a shortwhile it proved to be heavy but this was the only downside.
We switched to the creatis carseat. This was lovely, like a little egg complete with a newborn cushion to keep my little one in the correct position. It has side impact protection and a soft top sunshade. The rain cover for this fits over very easily hooking on at the back and bottom with little elastic loops. The rain cover also has breathable sides and an opening "hatch" at the front so the baby doesn't get all steamed up inside. Once again, by six months old I felt that it was getting far too heavy to carry so I started to leave it fixed in the car and remove my baby...

After researching a lot of different pushchairs, I decided on the Loola quite early in my pregnancy. It is stylish, practical and comfortable for the baby, what more do you need! It can be quite expensive, but I got it all at bargain prices by shopping more
