Advantages Attractive
Disadvantages Nightmare to dismantle
I got this pram 5 years ago just before my son was born, i thought it was a little expensive, cost around £370 but people kept reminding me that the pram would do for the next baby i had, that was 5 years ago and i still aint sure if i want another one :o) !!
When i got the pram home i was surprised at just how many boxes it came in... 3 large boxes !! I had expected just 1 box... I left the assembling of the pram to my dad, im sure i heard loads of swearing while he was putting it together !! Finally when it was finished it looked great, didn't give the impression of being very comfortable looking though. So just to make it a little more comfortable i got some blankets for him to lie on.The carrycot was nice and roomy for my son to sleep in and lie in until he was about 6 months old... he liked to sleep in the carrycot more than his cot, don't know why... it must have been snug and relaxed for him !!
When he was big enough to sit up i had to change from carrycot to the pushchair.... The pushchair can be moved into 5 different position at the back (from sitting up to lying right back) and 3 different position for the footrest.... so my son could always be comfortable whatever his position. The pushchair is really easy to move into these positions ! There is a handle at the back you pull and a bar under the footrest that is also pulled and put in place. The pram and the covers are not waterproof (ok for a light shower) so i had to purchase a rain cover for the pram which cost around £40, the rain cover was big and awkward and made dismantling the pram even harder !!
This pram would be ok if you plan to walk everywhere and only rarely have to take the pram apart... I hardly got any use from my pram as i was on buses a lot and i found taking the pram apart was an inconvenience, it took loads of time and planning.... Also fitting it in the car is hard work.... the chassis had to go in the boot and the top half of the pram on the back seat which leaves hardly any room for passengers in the back seat !!My pram now lies in a cupboard and has done for around 4 years, i don't know if i will ever use it again, as i prefer smaller buggies, but i hang on to it just incase !!
