I use it every day for a week, then I can have a break for 4-6 weeks - that's enough to keep my symptoms at bay. I don't get asthma - Beconase is NOT for asthma because it works purely locally within the nose When you use it you sometimes get a tingling sensation in the nose which can make you sneeze initially, but you need to keep going for 3 days to feel the effect.

My hubby, Shane, until a few years ago was not known to have hayfever. As if over night the sneezing started followed by nosebleeds. Oh no, not more years of bloody pillows, I thought that had past years ago following a nasal cauterisation for weak blood vessels. An appointment was made, with the GP and the diagnosis of Hayfever was made. Shane was prescribed Beconase, a mild corticosteriod, to combat the irritation.
This is a nasal preparation, which can be used, in allergic or vasomotor rhinitis, or more commonly hayfever. One squirt of this spray contains 50 micrograms of beclomethasone dipropionate. Beconase can induce sneezing on administration. This is a common side effect that often subsides after a few uses. When Shane use this nasal spray, I can smell a strong scent of Hyacinths. I love it!

This stuff is amazing and I'm sure once you've tried it you'll never look back. I've only had two headaches this year in comparison to my 1 - 2 a week.
It costs around £6.99 a bottle (which contains about 60 sprays). Expensive when you need to use it every day but lucky for me Boots have been running a 3 for 2 on hayfever products this summer, and I've saved a fortune.
