Most of the positive reviews on here either point to pure luck, or are perhaps less than objective. My experience with this lot mirrors most of the other 1* ratings which are on here.

Ordered our Memory Sleep 500 Divan bed with memory foam mattress on the 11 Oct and finally received the item on 3rd Nov 09 (Delivery was indicated as being 5/10 days). Received the item damaged and without the headboard. Contacted Bedworld's customer services who indicated that they had forgotton to include the headboard in the delivery and would deliver at the end of the week, and that should I retain the damaged goods they would offer me a refund ...

I ordered a dining room table and chairs 8 weeks ago and the website advertised the items to be delivered in 2-3 weeks....wow!! how great is that.
3 weeks come and go, so i called them, sorry but its not in stock and waiting for next delivery in 3 weeks.
OK, so it happens, so i waited.
Week 6 comes and a new excuse...."items came to us broken so we sent it back to manufacturer and asked for a new one which we will get in 2 weeks" said the girl ... ...has none in stock and i will need to wait a further 3 weeks.
Thats the last straw.
I think i would rather wait 9 weeks for a reputable company to deliver the item than wait for bedworld to deliver.
Lets see how long they take to give me my refund.
My Advise.....pay a bit more and use a known company, not this cowboy outfit. ...

Advantages: Comfy bed! Disadvantages: Wrong Delivery Times and Scratched bed
...recently purchased this bed from Bedworld.net and soon became very suspicious about the quality of the service given from the website. The bed was supposed to come with free next day delivery but after I had ordered it I was given a delivery date that was three days after the day that I had ordered it. On the day of the delivery a van arrived early in the morning with only the mattress that i had ordered and i was told that the bedframe would arrive ... ...am told that this is because they are stored in different warehouses. At this stage I couldn't fault the delivery service as the matress had been delivered on the right day at a good time and the delivery driver was very friendly.
However I waited in all day for my bedframe but it never arrived and when I contacted customer services they told me that they could only send me the bedframe in 2 days time - this was a big let down as i had already taken ...

I just want to share my experience on a fault i had with my mattress. I discovered that one of the tufts had been pulled inside the mattress leaving a hole. I was dreading the prospect of getting this resolved with an online retailer. I emailed the contact address and received a prompt reply advising they would contact the manufacturer. Within a couple of days customer services contacted me and promised an exchange for a new mattress. The delivery ... ...lead time on the mattress anyway so i guess that was to be expected. One negative point was that i was asked to package the old mattress ready for delivery. As you can imagine this is not easy if you haven't kept the original packaging. Anyway some shrink wrap did the trick. Overall it was a good experience. ...

Ordered a bed for delivery to my daughters flat, at 14:00 it had still not arrive, when we contacted them after 15 telephone attempts that only reach an ansafone, we were told that no one was at the delivery address. "But I am here and been here all day", the response was that I must be wrong. No I went outside and checked the number on the door and yes I was at my daughters flat, to confirm it she was standing next to me, a bit of a solid argument ... ...office insisted i was not there when the van came.
The yorkshire bedworld office just dismissed us.
Finally got thru to a London number and got some assistance there, but the result was we had to drive to the depot and pick it up ourselves. The very helpful depot supervisor informed us the bed had not yet reached him from the factory and was due in that evening, so maybe just maybe the van had not shown up at the delivery address as it had no bed ...
