I ordered a bed and matress from bedworld only because they offered next day delivery. I had just moved house and I expected the bed to arrive on the day I moved in. I also had this day off work so I was around all day to accept the delivery. I didn't hear anything, no emails no phone calls or anything. So on the delivery day I was waiting. At about 16:30 I decided to call them up going through their complicated telephone system. I finally got a human. I explained the situation and asked whether the bed was going to be delivered or not,. She said they tried to contact me the day before by telephone and I had no record of missed calls for that day or no voice mails. The reason why it couldn't be delivered is because the delivery address was different to my billing address. I found this hard to understand as they provided the option of having a different delivery address so I assumed it would be fine. The women said that it explained in the terms and conditions that ID will be required. I said well obviously I have ID.
I then explained that it had to be delivered today as I would not be at home any other day of the week. She said it could be delivered in three to four days. I was so angry that I cancelled the order. I am still waiting for a full refund into my bank account and at the moment I am sleeping on a blow up bed and I am still furious at their service and will be taking this further.
