Sainsbury's is so good
Advantages: looks good, range of content, comps and money off Disadvantages: sometimes hard to find a copy - they go quickly or aren't displayed well
I found the sainsburys magazine to be a good read compared to other supermarket magazines. But I would only pick it up at the checkout if it was obviously on sight - I wouldn't go out my way or ask staff for it.
However saying that it is colourful, glossy and as well put together as normal magazines and contains easy to follow recipes and interesting features along the topics of home, garden and cooking.
a good point is that it contains meals on ... ...issue I read had a burger recipe to feed four for a fiver and they actually tasted very nice - it was a recipe from jamie oliver also - which I think is great.
This magazine has regular competitions, money off coupons and vouchers. The issue I read had money saving vouchers for wine - which I don't drink so didn't use, also some money off coupons for butter and a new flavour of jelly which I did use saving me about 50p altogether.
The copy I picked ...

Entertaining and Informative
Advantages: Entertaining. Great Coverage of Wines. Informative Disadvantages: Very Few
...fascinating publication this is ! Wine Spectator is written for people serious about wine-but who dont take themselves or their wines too seriously. As well as being educational and informative this US publication is thoroughly entertaining as well. They also have an online version. You will find it at http://www.winespectator.com.
The online version is a breeze to load and very simple to navigate. What a site ! You will find this is a veritable ... ...version. There are sections on wine ratings, daily wine news, collecting, wine basics, vintage wines, and a great section on winery profiles covering the US, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
Most of the wine related articles are most interesting. Recent ones have included "...Top 1000 Wines of 2001" . " What am I tasting ?" and " Top Pick of the New Releases".

~~Excellent Read~~
Advantages: Covers more than just food Disadvantages: No discount for subscribing
...as I no longer use Sainsburys to do my main shopping, so it usually means a special trip just to buy the magazine. Compared to other supermarket magazines, it is far superior, the quality and content is fantastic.
It covers things like the latest offers, coupons for money off , recipes and new items instore, bothe food and non food.I do however feel the £1.20 price tag is a little high, and perhaps could be discounted for nectar card holders. I ... ...like other foodie magazines do, otherwise there is no insentive to subscribe.
I do however feel the magazine does reflect the whole image of Sainsburys and that is Quality, This is a monthly publication and at times I find my self wishing the weeks away until the next issue. ...

Great magazine
Advantages: Recipe ideas Disadvantages: none
We picked up this magazine the other day in the Supermarket, we don't have a local Sainsbury's but it's definitely a good supermarket and has loads of great food so we like to make the effort to travel a little further to go there. We got our magazine for free, from the sounds of it I don't think everybody does. I can't remember why, I think it was because we bought more than 3 items, I'm sure the guy on the checkout said - 'it's free now i've scanned ... ...Anyway, I would have gladly paid for it, it's fantastic to say the least. I wasn't really interested in any of the articles, i skipped past most of them. It was the recipies I was interested in.
I have never seen so many recipies in one magazine, it was like a mini cookbook!! I'm quite fussy when it comes to food, and a lot of the time i run out of ideas of what to eat, that's why I like sainsbury's anyway. The thing they have going with Jamie Oliver ...
