A Life Behind Bars

Advantages: fast paced
Disadvantages: repetitive

strung together for shock value. I've read a couple of biographies set inside prisons which were insightful and well written but this simply wasn't up to this standard and was a rather two dimensional account of Thompsons experiences. Reading this book is certainly a good deterrant to a life behind bars, either as a prisoner or an officer. Behind Enemy Lines

Advantages: Entertaining the whole way through
Disadvantages: Slightly on the budget side

Last night Behind enemy lines was on Film Four and I thought I?d give it ago, I had never heard of the film before and so did not know what to expect, I always give the info on the TV a read before getting into a new film as unfortunately I am one of the Biased people of the world who find a film more worth trying if it has good actors and a good synopsis. I have never seen him in a serious role and although this gave doubts it also intrigued me into seeing the film and made me want to see if he would fail ...

The Mighty Mars Bar

Advantages: Classic chocolate bar
Disadvantages: They changed the nougat filling

This is perhaps the most classic chocolate bar from my childhood. It has long been my favourite as a kid and I sort of have to say it still is so as not to feel as if I have disowned it (sorry Mars Bar but I have found other favourites - I still love you though!). 'A Mars a day helps you work rest and play' - this was the little catchphrase that was associated with Mars Bar. Funny really; it's like saying a chocolate bar a day is good for you. The slogan has now changed to 'Pleasure you can't measure' which definitely seems more appropriate. A standard Mars bar comes at 58g, about 11cm long and 1.8cm high. You'll pay about 32p for this bar in supermarkets which is well below the norm of 50p. They used to be more expensive but in recent years, the classic nougat and caramel filling has obviously lost its appeal as new and more ...
