desktop DJ effects processor with real-time control. Behind its super-intuitive user interface is the power to simultaneously control 6 functions, an incredible real-time scratch function and a super-fast and accurate auto-BPM counter. For example, you can adjust track speed using the virtually inaudible Pitch Transposer, and you also get a breathtaking LFO-controlled effects section including delay & flanger and awesome filter effects with 3 filter types (low, high and band pass), 3 filter modes (auto, manual, LFO) and separate resonance control. There is a groove- and BPM-related loop sampler with up to 16 seconds of memory as well as an ultra-steep 3-band kill EQ (-40 dB) with separate cut buttons per band. A switchable phono/line input with built-in high-precision phono preamplifier lets you connect turntables and CD players, and a signal/effect balance and input gain control provide top flexibility.

...of the art 24-bit effectsprocessor with delay, reverb, flanger etc; and 38 various different outputs.
Behringer have ensured that this mixer is simple and ready to use straight out of the box. Literally simply plug and play. The Xenyx also comes with USB functions, allowing you to record to your PC with much greater ease.
And if this model is too big or has too many inputs for you - Behringer have designed different Xenyx models with 5, 10, 12, 16, 18 or 22 inputs; all of which are lower priced. This is a great product for professional recording quality on a budget. Definitely consider buying this product to improve your sound - and make sure you avoid the big boys Korg etc that will make you pay thousands....

Advantages: all inclucive fully packed top of the range mixer Disadvantages: none
...The Behringer DJX700 has to be the best value for money DJ mixer on the market. it is a slight copy of the more expencive Pioneer DJM600S.
the DJX700 comes feature full and i cant think of any thing else that could have been squeezed in to it.
you get a 5 channel mixer (3 phono, 4 line/cd and 1 mic channel) all with individual eq trim. high mid and low.
you get dual beat counters assigned to what ever you put on the crossfader, a full range of kill switches which kill sound excellently with additional kill with the trim. then there are the effects.
this mixer may not have the best effect parimiters but what you get is more than adequite for any DJ to tweak there mixes.
there are 47 individual effects including reverbs, Echos, Delays and filters just to name a few and if thats not enough there is a seperate effects in/out channel...

Advantages: Smart FX Processor, Small Size, Looks Great! Disadvantages: No individual channel monitoring.

PRICE
-----------
The units price is what attracted me to Behringers series of mixers in the first place. They're not dirt cheap, but defiantly fall into the budget category of "excellent value". Prices for this particular model range from around £70 - £90 online, so if you're thinking of purchasing one, make sure you shop around and get one in the £70 range.

INPUTS
-------------
The unit features 4 main balanced XLR channels designed for microphone input, although there's a jack connection below each XLR also. Just below that there's a TRIM knob for inputs with a low line signal. All 4 channels feature a 3-way "British EQ" with a Low cut filter button, as well as pan and level controls for each channel. There's also the FX level control, the use of this will be discussed in more detail in the "FX Processor" section...
