such great features to instantly ingrain itself on the short list of must-have industry standards. Start with our high-grade 45-mm ULTRAGLIDE faders. The faders are, after all, the heart and soul of each mixer. With their 500,000 cycles life expectancy, they outperform standard faders more than twenty-fold. VCA (Voltage Controlled Amplifier) technology goes hand in hand with our fadersaudio signal does not run directly through them; instead, the faders only provide a control voltage to the VCAs. The advantage: practically no audio noise caused by mechanical wear. Your crowd will be astounded by the 47 breathtaking digital effect presets in 24-bit quality: delay, reverb, flanger, filter, panner, ultrabass, exciter, Vinylizer, voice changer and more. Your audience will be astounded, but theyll never have to know your secret. Matching tracks is an art in itself. It takes countless nights of practice before you can truly sayyou have it under your belt. With our intelligent BPM counter, we take a lot of the guesswork out. Features like SYNC LOCK and BEAT ASSIST help you seamlessly align two tracks without having to rely solely on your ears. We also give you our awesome XPQ 3D surround function. It widens the stereo image and adds life and transparency to your soundits a great way to put a unique finishing touch to your sound and make it feel bigger and wider. You

Great mixer for learning on, with stacks of features to keep you occupied with. However the quality in terms of sound and durability is not so great so don't expect it to last as long as less full-featured rivals. I had a fair few problems with mine, but during the 1 year warranty the service was excellent and they even replaced it for me! The BPM counters are generally quite inaccurate and only go to 160 so do not work for drum and bass. Also the kill switches are pretty awkward as they have to be pushed down then wait for the release which makes them almost impossible for accuarate timing. If you want an easy to use mixer with four channels then this is a great budget mixer, just don't expect too much.
Advantages: all inclucive fully packed top of the range mixer Disadvantages: none
The Behringer DJX700 has to be the best value for money DJ mixer on the market. it is a slight copy of the more expencive Pioneer DJM600S.
the DJX700 comes feature full and i cant think of any thing else that could have been squeezed in to it. you get a 5 channel mixer (3 phono, 4 line/cd and 1 mic channel) all with individual eq trim. high mid and low.
you get dual beat counters assigned to what ever you put on the crossfader, a full range of ... ...the trim. then there are the effects.
this mixer may not have the best effect parimiters but what you get is more than adequite for any DJ to tweak there mixes.
there are 47 individual effects including reverbs, Echos, Delays and filters just to name a few and if thats not enough there is a seperate effects in/out channel on the back to add another effects unit. This mixer also has XPQ surround sound for greater sound seperation.
there are 3 outputs ...
