Advantages great opening ceremony
Disadvantages not so good crowd level
The Beijing Olympics was a real success on the television screen looking smooth and well organized , but was it?
Beijing opening ceremony was I have to say very well done using technology, cleverness and obviously a lot of money to attract an audience from all across the globe, I think it will be hard to beat for London in 2012. Further more the press who went to see the games have said how wonderful everything was and how they got through security quickly. Beijing were extremely clever by getting the press on there side. This was done by allowing the press freedom during the games and allowing hem to get through security quickly. Where as for the general public it would take up 1 hour to get through.In addition the stadiums were not full in some major sports such as basketball you could see only a few people in the crowd, I can't imagine what the para olympics will be like. More over most of the general of China were not allowed in due to the fact that they did not have enough money, many of them had to stand out side the gate and watch.
Make your own mind up, was the olympics as good as it seemed?
And i have not even mentioned the swap over with the young singing girls!
