    Advantages Advantages Easy reading if nothing else

    I actually bought this book a while ago as part of a buy 2 get the third free. I had fancied reading it for a while but I wasn't of the inclination to actually go out and pay full whack for it, so getting it free was great. I'm always curious when someone so young like Katie Price writes their autobiography, surely they should wait until their 50's to write one? Then you think about it, if Katie Price can cash in, then why shouldn't she? She has accomplished quite a lot at a young age and maybe she feels she will do better to continue her autobiographical writings throughout her life rather ... more

    Advantages Advantages Gives an insight into the 'glamour modelling' world. Good photos. Easy to read.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Scanty on any new revelations.

    Before reading the autobiography of Katie Price (aka 'Jordan') entitled, 'Being Jordan', I wasn't sure what my opinion of her was at all. Like many, I'd read the odd piece of gossip about her in the tabloids, and knew my husband would groan deeply every time the famous/infamous glamour model's name was mentioned. But the first real opportunity I got to form my own opinion was when she entered the TV reality show 'I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.' Like most, I guess you can't help but initially notice her largely inflated bust and skimpy clothing, but what incenses some people towards her ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages No real insight into her life

    If you've ever read a tabloid newspaper or a men's magazine, you'll have heard of Jordan. In more recent times, you don't even need to have done this to have heard of her, thanks to her attempts to represent the UK in 2005's Eurovision Song Contest and her appearance in the 2004 series of ITV's "I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!" Unfortunately, the hardback version of this book was written before the former and published just after the latter, so it's the tabloid fans that are best catered for here. I would hope that the paperback version will contain more information on the last 18 months ... more

    Advantages Advantages easy to read, very open and forthcoming, nice tone of writing, plenty of shocks and gossip!

    Disadvantages Disadvantages not much focus on her career and actually "being Jordan"

    I'm not usually that interested in celebrity autobiographies, or celebrities in general to be honest. I'm not even a fan of Jordan / Katie Price, but I couldn't resist this book for the chance of reading a bit of gossip. I had quite high expectations of the level of detail and level of "juicy-ness" of the gossip! The paper back version of this book costs RRP £7.99, but there are plenty of copies selling on the Amazon marketplace starting from just 1p plus postage + packing.     I had a bit of luck at the weekend, as I walked one of the charity shops in Watford, I noticed in the window, a copy of Being Jordan by none other than Katie Price. I knew this book had only been out a short time so just had to go in and purchase it for, wait for it …….. £1.50.
