I had a bit of luck at the weekend, as I walked one of the charity shops in Watford, I noticed in the window, a copy of Being Jordan by none other than Katie Price. I knew this book had only been out a short time so just had to go in and purchase it for, wait for it …….. £1.50.
After reading the reviews on Ciao for this book and now owning a copy for myself, I decided to write an opinion of my own. I hope you enjoy it, I am trying not to give too much away.
WHO IS THIS BOOK ABOUT? Katie Price aka JORDAN., the Brighton Belle who appeared in “IM A CELEBRITY GET ME OUT OF HERE”.
WHAT IS SHE FAMOUS FOR? She’s not well known for her brains and she’s certainly no scientist. What Jordan does best is take her clothes off, sleep with half of England and have her boobs blown up to over sized proportions. Jordan began her modelling in humble beginnings, for a pair of paedophiles. Unwittingly she posed for months near naked whilst only a young girl. Eventually she was spotted by Sam Bond and the Sun
took on her by chance as a page 3. Her career has gone from strength to strength but just by taking her clothes off. She leaves nothing to the imagination and her private life is just as risqué. Saying that, you cannot help but admit she is a stunning girl, her face is very attractive and her figure unique. If she had kept to what she was given, she would have gone further. Instead her name is paramount with smut really, she will never reach the ranks of Elle McPherson.
WHAT IS THE BOOK ABOUT? It gives a detailed account of her life in the early years right up to her latest fling with Peter Andre. It has lots of kiss and tell and if you enjoy celebrity gossip then you will enjoy reading this. Jordan goes in to detail about the size of some her lover’s equipment and there is not much left to the imagination. Her one real love seems to be Dane Bowers and he let her down badly. Most of her men she writes were unfaithful at one point. Ralf Schumacher wasn’t a two-timer and because he never slept with her during their relationship, she went elsewhere for her oats! Jordan later found out that he was saving himself for the right woman and at that point he was ready to get married and have a family. Deep down, she admitted to wanting this too but blew it after seeing Dane behind Ralf’s back.
SO IT’S ALL ABOUT SEX THEN? No it isn’t. Katie talks about her family, her stepfather and her biological father and her love of horse riding. How she can do show jumping with her size chest is beyond me, it must hurt???
DOES SHE ADMIT TO HAVING A THREE SOME AFTER THE TABLOIDS CLAIM SHE DID? Yes, she does and according to Jordan it was a trap she set to see if her two timing boyfriend would actually succumb to it. He went for it big time.
DOES SHE TALK ABOUT HER SON? Yes and you cannot help but feel for this little boy. He has so many health problems but none of which were caused by her lifestyle, Jordan states.
DOES SHE ADMIT TO THE AFFAIR WITH GARETH GATES? Poor Gareth, he was a fresh-faced young pop idol until Jordan got inside his pants. Now he hardly releases a single, he must have gone into shock since bedding Miss Price. From what she writes it appears he was embarrassed to be seen with her and their trysts were done in top secret, until once again the papers found out.
WHAT WAS THE GOSSIP ON DAVID BECKHAM AS SHE MENTIONED WHILST IN THE JUNGLE? It’s nothing to get excited about; I was very disappointed judging by David’s behaviour these last months. I do not want to give it away but its do with him holding a piece of her anatomy whilst Victoria wasn’t looking. Which piece you will have to read and find out!! Sorry.
DID SHE SLEEP WITH THE OLD WRINKLY HUGH HEFFNER? This is one man she hasn’t slept with. However she does give an insight into life at the Playboy Mansion and all his bunnies. He makes me feel physically sick and this section I just glanced at.
HOW LONG DID IT TAKE FOR YOU TO READ? I bought this on Saturday and three days later I have just finished it. Couldn’t put it down!
HOW MANY PAGES IS IT? There are 277 pages in the hardback version. Inside is a selection of family photographs and modelling shoots. Given Jordan’s history, she has chosen some quite tasteful pictures; so don’t worry about the kids picking it up. There are some topless piccies but no legs akimbo shots.
WHERE CAN I GET IT FROM? It’s available in hard back only at the moment. WHSMITHS, WORLD OF BOOKS, www.amazon.co.uk and DISCOUNT BOOKS all stock it. Retail price is £18.
WHAT IS THE ISBN NO? 1-84454-063-4, the book is co-written by JOHN BLAKE.
WOULD YOU BY HER NEXT BOOK? Yes, I will. You cannot help but like her after reading this. This book is very light hearted reading and guarantee’s a laugh at the expense of some her men though.
WHAT AGE RANGE IS IT SUITABLE FOR? Any age really but you certainly will not be giving it to your great granddad as a birthday gift. Might make his pacemaker blow if he has one.

Great review well worth the E. I have bought this book in paperback today and paid £5.99 from woolworths should of been £7.99 and i was goin to right a review but think you have said it all. Bex
