Beijing 2008 (Xbox 360)

Advantages: Loads of Games, Great Graphics, Good Sound
Disadvantages: Cheats on Xbox Live, Cuts your hand in running!

...a review on the game Beijing Olympics 2008 for the Xbox 360 Lets get on with it! Well this game is amazing there is loads of different games (38 over 10 sports) which makes it last for ever. There is also 200m 400m 110 Metre Hurdles in this its just the same as the 100 Metres except there is hurdles and to jump the hurdles you have to press the LT button or left trigger. 800 Metres and 1500 Metres in this you do the same in the 100 Metres except you don't have to move the thumb stick as fast and you cant keep sprinting or your runner will get tired and stop running. The game beijing 2008 is not exactly what i expected... The graphics are superb and the way the game is designed is fantastic however, there are a few aspects which do let the game down terribly... The events are plentiful but, unfortunatly, repetitive... Disadvantages: not very good on your own

Finally, an olympic game that actually touches the base of the event as a whole... From the track and field to the floor exercises, this game is on point... I was curious as to how the would implement uneven bars and rings but guess what?? They did a marvelous job... The events give you the option to button mash or old school it like Summer games with the wiggle of the analog... The spinning of the analog for hammer throw and shot put are perfect... ...
...to but once you get it down, its worth the effort... Judo has potential and I still don't understand it much but then again, if they would of throw Tae Kwon Do in the game with the Judo style, we would have had a contender against Karate Champ but it still plays good... This is a great game overall... The type of olympic game that I have been waiting for... I highly recommend getting this game because for the first time, it not all about button mashing... ...
