Hi this is going to be a review on the game Beijing Olympics 2008 for the Xbox 360
Lets get on with it!
Well this game is amazing there is loads of different games (38 over 10 sports) which makes it last for ever.
I will talk a bit about a few of the games now
100 Metres in this game you have to use the left right thumb stick or rapidly press A and B like most of the running games there is one problem when using the thumb stick it hurts!!! I have about 5 cuts on my hand and a few blisters they really didn't think about it when they made it them buttons! There is also 200m 400m
110 Metre Hurdles in this its just the same as the 100 Metres except there is hurdles and to jump the hurdles you have to press the LT button or left trigger.
800 Metres and 1500 Metres in this you do the same in the 100 Metres except you don't have to move the thumb stick as fast and you cant keep sprinting or your runner will get tired and stop running.
High Jump and Triple Jump in these two games you have to run by doing the same as in 100 M and then press the LT button to jump and in triple you have to press LT when your jumper stands on the feet marks on the track to get perfect excellent good or miss depending on how fast accurate and the angle of which you jump shows how far you jump
High Jump in the high jump you have to run like in the 100 M then press A B A B… when your jumper stands on that letter and you get Perfect Excellent ETC
Enough about the games as it would be about 5 pages long if I stated them all so on with the review.
Along with all the great games there is different game modes
Olympic Games You go through the Olympics training up your athlete and competing in all of the events
Training You choose which events you do and can beat the world records set my real people on Xbox Live
Competition You can play locally on the same Xbox 360 or against other players on Xbox Live
Custom Team You can create your own custom team
Leader boards See how you rank against other player on Xbox Live (you will never be first as there are people who cheat and get 1 second in the 100 Metres!)
Xbox Live The game play on Xbox live is OK but the timing some times is a bit out for example if your running on your screen your first but on the leader boards they win by over 2 seconds but its still fun. The games are the same you can meat new friends and play together.
There is a few problems with this game for example the running events cut your hands and that there is cheaters on Xbox Live but apart from that this is a really great game which I love and everyone in my family love when we all play the 100 Metres together. This is a game I would defiantly recommend to any sport loving person or just anyone really. Thanks for reading I hope this helps you decide if you like it or not!!!

It wasn't really as in depth as I would've hoped, I've been thinking about getting the game for a while as Sydney 2000 was really enjoyable. Just needed a bit more information and a list of potential drawbacks etc.

I cant imagine what in this review can get people to give the top rating, but...im not here to judge on the raters.
The review for me lacked alot of things, graphics, sounds? More in-depth explaination of the game modes would of been nice, too.
