If you are looking for a cheap TV that is pretty good at everything without being outstanding at any then this is well worth considering.

It is well stocked with features i.e 4 picture settings although I have never needed anything other than 16:9, 2 scart connections, 1 aerial, 1 headphone socket everything else is controlled from the remote.

This is one area of concern in that it is not the most robust one I have seen in fact I would go as far as saying its a bit fragile. However, it does its job and for those of you like me who still like to use teletext it is very quick and easy to use.

The one I bought came as part of a package with a video, DVD and a stand all for £300 not a bad price 4 years ago, its a lot cheaper now and that's why its such good value for money. My TV is in our kitchen it has mostly kids tv on and therefore has to withstand the way kids treat things when they are young and so far it has stood up well and works and looks just the same as the day we bought it. The remote control has not lasted so well but it has suffered quite a lot of abuse and may soon need replacing fortunately they are readily available at a small cost.

The one thing that any prospective purchaser needs to be aware of is that this weighs quite a lot and to move it safely needs 2 strong adults.

Aside from that it has a good picture the sound quality though not great is adequate and the looks and style are still inkeeping with the newer offerings.
