...we ended up picking the Beko CDA647FS fridge freezer. We looked in currys/comet and other electrical retailers and they all priced this fridge/freezer at £329.99, with delivery at either £19.99 or £29.99, so costing the best part of £350 or £360. We asked around for discounts but no-one would drop the price (well, thats not strictly true - comet offered us a "handy pack" of coca-cola ie 12 cans). We started looking online and a company called tukha.com ...
...reputation of the company though so used dixons' online price match. They agreed to charge £261.97 including delivery and 3 days later the fridge freezer arrived, saving us about £90 compared to the high street retailers. Dixons ask you to specify a day to deliver (you can pick a sat/sun for no extra) and the delivery company phone in the morning to let you know when they will come. Disadvantages: It died after less than a week!!!

...and eventually plumped for the Beko one. A couple of reasons why. The main one being the size of it. There are 7 of us, so a big fridge freezer was the priority. It was delivered on the Saturday afternoon, and got switched on the following day. It was great. The milk was cool and the frozen food stayed frozen. It also looked great in the kitchen. There was a good amount of room both in the fridge for the usual contents, including the night befores ...
...had thawed. I rang Beko servicing up, who could not get anyone out for at least a week. Forget tghe fact that it was only a few days old. Beko didn't list this a high priority. Forget the fact that we lost food. This wasn't Beko's fault. No matter what I said, Beko weren't taking any responsibilty for the fact that the fridge was faulty after only 4 days of being switched on. Disadvantages: maybe slightly noisy at times

ended up having to buy another fridge freezer after our last one suddenly died without warning! So after going around various highstreet retailers and finding out it would take up to 2 months to have one delivered anything like the size or style that would fit our kitchen. As we already had a large chest freezerspace was not as much teh issue, we ended up actually buying this from an online store - using a code we had got even got some discount on ...
...couple of months now running really well the freezer is excellent runs smoothly and got quite alot of space. got plenty of diffrent storage compartments and i love the ice tray/ bank you get in the freezer. Beko is a very trustable brand and i have been using beko fridge for a long time, and never had any problems with it. It's not only cheaper than the others, it's better quality as well.
