We chose the CDA752FS because it has the required capacity in a shape that fitted ito a quite small utility room. As it is only 600mm deep x 700mm wide, it doesn't protrude too far into the room giving a flush finish with the worktop. The are 3 toughened glass shelves which are easy to keep clean and a stainless steel 5 bottle rack which is great for the kids drinks or the adults wine. All the shelves and the bottle rack can be adjusted in position to suit the height of various items. At the bottom two large salad drawers provide plenty of storage for the kids favourite greens! The water dispenser is really good however at first it seemed a bit fiddly to fill without spillage, but after a few tries the method was soon mastered (don't fill it too close to the top or find a jug that lets you fill it in situ). There is also a drips tray which is easy to empty and clean. The capacity of the water dispenser isn't that large and it is a shame that it ins't plumbed into the water supply like the big American Style fridge fridges. With 4 small and 2 full width door shelves there is plenty of space for jars, juice cartons and eggs.
The freezer has 3 large drawers and 1 shelf with a hinged door at the top. Built into the shelf, there is are two ice trays which a really simple to use. All you do is fill them as you would a normal ice tray and when the ice is ready you twist the handle and the ice cubes fall into a sliding tray. This makes it really easy for the kids to get ice for their drinks without ice cubes flying everywhere! Don't leave ice cubes on the tray too long as they tend to freeze to it and then you do get ice cubes flying everywhere!
With nice rounded corners and easily removable shelves the whole thing is easy to keep clean.
Installation was interesting as I bought it on the internet (~£325) and it was dumped into the room fully packaged!. However when I discovered that there where two wheels at the back it proved a doddle to manouevre into the space. Also with the 2 adjustable feet at the front, levelling was easy. This might prove a problem in old houses with uneven floors as there is no adjustement at the back. The doors can be reversed if required, but fortunately they where in the right position for us, so I can't comment on how easy this procedure would be, although the instruction book makes it look easy (as you would expect).
The unit has been running for about 3 months with no problems at all and so far I am really impressed. It's not the quietest fridge I have come across, but being in the utility room this is not a problem.
Comparing it in price to similar units from other manufacturers it seems really good value for money. If you decide to try and buy on the high street it is likely to be far more expensive and one well known, celestial named, outlet classes it as an American Style with a £49 delivery charge! Do a search on the internet and you will be amazed at the price differences, even with free delivery!
