I kept saying I'd get a dishwasher (for about 15 years), then I finally got one. My new house has the tiniest kitchen and, with the new units I'd bought, there wasn't room for a full-size one, so I bought a slimline. It cost me £189
It has an efficiency rating of B and 8 place settings. I thought 8 settings would be fine as there are only 2 adults and 1 child in our house. However, I'd forgotten how messy we are so, at weekends especially, it often gets used twice a day
It's quiet, efficient and It cleans really well and I'm more than happy with its performance. Cleaning the machine itself is really easy as everything comes out
The only thing that really bothers me is that I find it difficult to get my tall glass tumbelrs into it so they have to be washed by hand. This is a small price to pay though for a relatively inexpensive, simple to use, efficient and quiet machine
All in all, great if you don't want 'all singing, all dancing' - just a nice little dishwasher
Advantages: cheap Disadvantages: problematical, maybe just me
Ok....I wanted a new dishwasher and thought I'd go for this one as it was in my price range. I paid £180 for it from a catalog.
The first one delivered had the same problem as the old one I'd just taken down the tip......the timer was dead which meant you had to turn the dial manually through the programs.
The initial machine was replaced within two weeks by the catalog company and I was not happy about having to go through four plumbing operations ... ...one out, next new one in). The replacement has been here now for around 5 months and the timer has been stable but the warning lights indicating low salt and rinse aid have given up the ghost. I'm not requesting yet another replacement as I really don't want to go through the plumbing procedure yet again..!!.
The machine has however proved to be good on the cleaning side and it's energy rating is good so I am yet to be displeased with its performance. ...

Advantages: Easy to use Disadvantages: storage is a bit tight
I thought this product was a smart and tidy one, just fitting nicely into a small gap in my tiny kitchen. I feel that the programmes are all very useful and easy to use. And the attention to detail for cleaning those delicate item such as glassware and plastics. Only problem is that this seems not to dry them very well. But as for those burnt saucepans the pre-wash and intensice programmes work a treat. Its powerful yet gentle. There is no complication ...
