I really appreciate a bargain and it needs to be worth every penny I pay for it, as I live on a strict budget. I hope my reviews will prove helpful.

With extra family staying for a couple of months, and plenty of wet weather around, I needed something quick, economical and reliable, so I opted for the cheapest machine I could find that could be delivered quickly. It turned out to be the Beko DRVS 62 W and I think I made the right choice.
It's C rated on energy but, even with heater power of 2000w, it didn't seem to make a huge impact on meter readings when used overnight on Economy 7. By using the 'sensor drying' mode, it seems to save quite a bit on electricity. The actual motor is only 200w, so cooler tumbling is an optional added saving.
The wide door and 6kg load means most things fit in without a problem, including kingsize bedding, and the sensor drying means it switches off as soon as the clothes are as dry as you need them - no messing around there. It lets you know when it's finished by emitting a tuneful bleeping sound.
The filter is easy to remove and clean, which I do between uses. The machine is fairly lightweight, so I can easily move it across the room on my own if needs must and, as it came with a free vent hose and was unpacked and set in position by the delivery guys, it was ready to use immediately. With a 'no need to iron' setting on board, that was me hooked.
This is fully programmable for most fabrics and even includes an anti-crease function, handy for just freshening up partially line-dried clothes.
I should mention that the vent hose exits from the base of the machine, so a top window may not be very handy for hanging this out but it's ideal if you have a low window or a cat flap nearby!
Advantages: Can fit a full load of washing in the large drum Disadvantages: Programme interrupted by stop-starting while it tells you to clean the filter
