Advantages: Good value machine, washes well on every programe Disadvantages: Quick wash cycle takes ages!
My very expensive washing machine "died" after just 2 years, so I thought I may as well get a cheaper one this time if that was going to happen again. This Beko model was the cheapest one recommended on comparison web sites. Well I have to say I am chuffed to bits with it. It does exactly "what it says on the tin", lovely clean clothes on all programs, even the delicate wash. It is a very quiet machine, with easy to follow controls. My only little gripe with it is that Beko's idea of a quick wash programe is a bit wide of the mark to mine! Apart from that I am very happy with it and would recomend this model to anyone. I have been doing my daughters washing as her's is broken, and even my 4 year old grandson's muddy jeans come up clean. ...

Advantages: cheap Disadvantages: doesnt heat up before it stops - have to keep restarting the cycle

It would not heat up, hence clothes would not dry. Engineer came out to fix it and said the thermostat had gone and would need to be ordered. But this never happened, so a wrangle ensued with Comet as I tried to return it and they have this horribly complicated returns process - that I eventually had to get Beko to authorise.
Got another as a replacement, but problems can still persist - but at least only £100 down the drain and not £200+ ...

kitchen which we wanted to fully utilise, and also one which would easily accommodate the every day cutlery and crockery needs of a family of four. Cost was also clearly a factor, but for those of you who have read my previous reviews, make was not a particularly important concept for me.
~~~ So which machine ticked all the boxes ~~~~~
Having done a price comparison on various internet sites, the machine which kept jumping out was the Beko DWD4310W, which was a standalone dishwasher in white, which was the same colour as our fridge, was marketed as a 12 Place Dishwasher, which more than fitted the bill for our family of four, and was available from the Co-op Electrical shop for £174.99. Whilst this price didn't include installation, I figured that it couldn't be much more difficult that it was to install a washing machine which even ...
