Advantages: Good Looking, Good Capacity, Quiet
Disadvantages: Longevity, Reliability

...I bought my Beko CA5410W fridge freezer about 20 months ago from comet, and have to say that im appalled by the lack of longevity with this machine, the compressor has broken down, needing a new one to replace which the repair man said would cost £150, avoid this manufacturer unless you have money to waste. There seemed to be nothing wrong with the machine at first, frost free, good capacity, good looking machine, until the breakdown, where it started with a trickling of water, defrosted, and then wouldnt start back up. I have had second hand fridge freezers bought for £100 before now that have lasted 2 to 3 times longer than this machine, they certainly dont make them like they used to. Not recommended. Advantages: OK if you don't want to reverse the door.
Disadvantages: I you don't want to reverse the door the product is sound.

...I purchased two of this model approx three months ago. The plan was to put them side by side thus needing one door to be reversed (left hand opening). They claim the doors are completely reversible, that's a load of rubbish,having completed the operation I found the door didn't seal. Rang the service department at Beko who suggested it could be the rubber gasked was faulty and sent me a replacement. It was deivered in good packaging but was totally kinked and useless. I have had a further replacement in the same state. The Beko engineer arrived asnd agreed with my findings. He re-ordered yet another gasket and this time a replacement door, that was three weeks ago. I now have yet another gasket but still no door. I must add that the Beko engineer is most helpful, but he can only be as good as the product. The other one works well... Read review

Advantages: look ok from the outside
Disadvantages: badly designed

...I bought a Beko Larder fridge in May of this year because it was the cheapest one on offer.This fridge is no good at all.The thermostat is positioned next to the shelf so if you nudge it with anything on the shelf it turns up and freezes all your food.I have had to throw quite a lot of my food away due to frost bite and now have had to tape the thermostat into positon. Beko customer services were rude and very unhelpful and wouldnt even listen to my problem and passed me on to an engineer telling me not to use the shelf !!?!! I suppose this is what you get when you buy a cheap product,something badly designed. Definately would not recommend to anyone.... Read review
