The machine itself is white in colour.It looks clean and fresh. It also has a big door with an easy to open door handle,a fairly basic but very easy to use control panel, Function buttons for things like a quick wash if your clothes are lightly soiled and a big top lid with separate washing powder and fabric softener compartments.It also has a program selection knob which is simple to use.
The capacity of the machine (dry fabric ) is 5 kg. You can actually get quite a lot in this machine whiach is handy if you have big loads.
The machine itself is a cold water connection which most machines are these days. Meaning it takes in the cold water and heats the water in the machine.
The instructions for this wahing machine are very self explanatory and easy to understand.
Selectyour progaram for washing based on the items you are washing press the selection knob button and turn the knob clockwise to select the desires program for your clothes.Make sure the door is properly closed and all the hoses are properly connect.
Then switch on the machine function button and start the propgram by pressing the on/off button and an indicator light will come on. During the wash the knob will turn but that is nothing to worry about it is just going through the settings for your wash.
If you select quick wash this will reduce the time for your washing...but only do this if your clothes and laundry are lightly soiled...not suitable for stains.
The machine automatically stops at the end of the wash, then press the on/off button and open the door to your nice clean laundry.
It is far from the best Washing Machine on the market , but it does the job and that is the main thing for me, getting my clothes and smalls washed!
It is fairly cheap, ideal if your starting out or moving into your own place.
It is also not as noisy in the spin as i thought it would be. My mum has a leading bradn machine and it is much more noisier, so that is a plus too.
If your on a budget or just looking for something smart and simple then this machine fits the bill.
Advantages: Cheap, reliable, easy to use Disadvantages: capacity, capacity, capacity
...machine for people on a budget like we were, although if you have alot of people in the house then I would recommend going for a bigger capacity machine.
Allround though I love my Beko it has served us well and am sure will continue to do so!! ...

I don't usually write reviews for things as mundane as washing machines (sorry to anyone that does) but I purchased this model for my new house about 8 months ago and it's performance has prompted me to write this review.
When looking I knew that I had to buy from somewhere that delivered as my car won't fit a washing machine. Also I was looking for a cheaper model as I didn't have alot of money. Most important I had specific dimensions for the ... ...worktop in the space where the old machine had been.
This model seemed perfect. However silly me forgot to read the small print so when it arrived I had to plumb the thing myself (a right of passage for any man I think you'll agree). Once this had been done I proudly turned it on. And nothing. 40 minutes of fussing and fighting later the first wash finally started. This began a chequered history of man versus machine.

Advantages: ITS CHEAP Disadvantages: NOT ENERGY EfficienT AS I LIKE
ITS A NO FRILLS WASHING MACHINE, SPIN SPEED IS 1000 SPM. THE ONLY THING IS THAT YOU HAVE TO REALLY STAND BY THE MACHINE AS THE DOOR DOES SHUT AS WELL AS I THOUGHT IT WOULD. IT IS IDEAL FOR A LARGE FAMILY WITH A WASHING MACHINE GOING ON ALL THE TIME, LIKE MY HOUSEHOLD. IF IT CAN COPE WITH THAT IT WILL COPE WITH LESS USE EASILY.
THIS WASHING MACHINE IS SO EASY TO USE, EVEN MY HUSBAND CAN COPE WITH IT, AT THE END OF THE DAY YOU HAVE TO LOOK AT HOW ...

Beko a British based manufacturer making various appliances, from washing machines to cookers to fridges.
At the time of buying this washing machine our finances were restricted so we were looking for something cheap until we had a bit more cash to buy a decent washing machine.
We got ours about two years ago from choice catalogue and it is now paid off.
We paid £220 for ours , and I have looked in various major stores and cannot find this model but I did find a few online companies selling them from £150 to £200.
