I purchased my silver Beko washing machine in April this year as me and my fiance had just purchased our first house together and wanted a machine that offered good value for money, got the job done and matched the other appliances we had already bought for our kitchen. As we had already bought a Beko fridge freezer in silver i decided to see what washing machines this company also had on offer so that the colour of the appliances would be exactly the same. I had a look on the comet website to see what was available as this was where i purchased my Beko
fridge freezer and i spotted the WMA520s which had a low price and was also quite an attractive appliance as far as washing machines go.

COLOUR OPTIONS
This machine is available in either a standard white or a silver colour. Other items in the Beko range are supplied in these colours which is great if you want matching appliances however the white is a standard high shine colour and im sure this appliance would not look out of place if put beside appliances from different manufacturers.
RELIABILITY
This is a great machine and really reliable, it gets everything brilliantly clean every time even on the 30 degree wash which is great as it will save energy and its kinder to the environment. Its performed excellent since we got it back in april and is much better than i expected from a budget machine.
PRICE/BEST PLACE TO BUY
This machine is excellent value for money and is avialable for just £219.99 from comet who will deliver it for you at no extra fee or you can reserve the machine online and collect it from a local store if you need it quickly if for example your current machine has broken down. This is not the cheapest i have seen this machine and if you do some research im sure you will be able to find it for less however if you do want it delivered as i did then comet will work out most cost effective as the delivery is completely free and this doesnt mean waiting for ages to recieve it as delivery is usually within 5 to 8 days. If you do want it quicker you can pay for delivery which is £18.95 for delivery within 2 to 5 days or £28.95 to have it delivered within 2 to 5 days and fitted for you by the delivery men if you arent confident about doing this yourself.
EASE OF USE
This machine is really easy and simple to use. It has a round dial on the front which you turn to select the correct heat and wash setting and buttons to start pause or stop the wash, to use a time saving cycle or to select an extra rinse option. It also has a dial that can be turned to change the spin speed, this could be used for more delicate items to prevent them from becoming damaged in the wash. It also performs really well on the handwash cycle which is great for underwear and more delicate clothing as it is really gentle compared to other machines i have used in the past which have managed to damage items even on a handwash setting.
VERDICT
This is an excellent budget washing machine which produces great results on every wash setting even on the lower heats which i use everytime i wash clothes in it and as it has a 5kg capacity it would be ideal for a couple as a budget purchase for a first home or a family as you can fit quite alot in at once. I would definately recomend this product to anyone looking for a new machine as it is really great quality and wont break the bank either. This machine also does not have the look of a cheap machine especially in the sparkly silver finish so no one would ever be likely to guess that it wasnt a high end machine.
