After moving in with my girlfriend we were given a washing machine to save on costs... it blew up after a few days. Rather than find an engineer to sort it we purchased a new one, the BEKO WMA 520W. For 18 months it was used daily, and ran fine... However, a manufacturing design fault caused us some stress. The drum is encased in plastic to prevent water from flooding your house (fair enough)... But the fatel flaw? The concrete block at the base is bottled from beneath to the plastic casing. After months of the drum and casing wrattling around, the bolt losened and the concrete block bounced, eventually so much it cracked the plastic casing... After being without a washig machine for 6 weeks it was repaired and fine again... but 6 months later, it happened again...
! would not recomend this model to amyone! Apart from the big flaw, its running times are very long, and it is very loud.
