Beko WMA 1715

Advantages: Price, build quality, features, ease-of-use, very energy efficient
Disadvantages: LONG wash cycle, needs good water pressure

...I have owned this machine for several months now and, having a family of four, it runs at least two washes per day. The Beko was at least 20% cheaper (NOTE: White is 10% cheaper than silver for some reason!) than any other in the showroom and has all the features you'd expect of a mid to upper price model. It feels solid and well made though it's not as "pretty" as machines from some other brands. I can find no significant difference between this and the more expensive brands bought by my friends. All the usual features are there and the very thin manual describes how to use these features without requiring you to have a degree in engineering. In use, it is very quite (can be used at night), cleans clothes well and leaves them reasonably dry after the fast spin cycle. I had a Hoover machine previously which lasted 12 years... Read review

Advantages: 30 minute quick wash, child lock, pause function.
Disadvantages: None spring to mind

...Beko WMA 510 is excellent Value for money. It is easy to use and comes with a manual that explains each operation in detail and plain english, not double dutch. The best thing about it is their is a child lock button on there so no little fingers can change the cycle half way through a load. The drum will take a fair amount of clothes, don't overload though or it is horrendously noisy and doesn't clean that well. Powder dispenser tray is really easy to remove and clean, press one button and out it comes. The pause button is another handy little feature, i find it really handy if i am on the phone in the kitchen i can pause the washing maching and still hear myself think. Advantages: Huge porthole, superb spin, price.
Disadvantages: Takes quite a bit longer than other machines to complete cycle.

...delighted with this machine. I only bought it because of the price as my old machine died unexpectedly but I'm now a Beko fan. The only disappointment was not getting a free box of washing powder inside like the good old days - but at this price who cares!!... Read review
