Heres the scenario, the washing machine gets filled up with a full load, the program is selected, cycle start is pressed and........... nothing, we wait & wait then the washing machine jumps into action... wrrrrrr wrrrrr then comes the spin and nothing. We go through the manual and follow all the what to do if`s and the machine still isnt working. Thats it .... time for ANOTHER washing machine. we look around town and find the Beko. An AA rated washing machine for half the price we paid for each of our last three big brand machines. OK its only a 5kg load and it doesnt have all the bells and whistles of the one we`re replacing but it is more energy efficient and we could have 2 for the price of the last one...... We`ll take it. We got the machine home, unpacked and in service within an hour. The cold fill only is good as it completely did away with the hot fill pipe. All the existing drain conectiions were used once the old machine was removed. The Beko was easily set level using a spirit lelel and the adjustable feet (this prevents tem wandering across the floor during spin cycles) THe machine has now been in service for 4 months without problem, its used once a day and still as quiet as the day we bought it. We were concerned that a cheaper machine would be noisey but it isnt. I would have no problems in recommending this machine to anyone whos after a no nonsense, cost effective washing machine. So much so that we are looking to replace the tumble dryer soon and it looks like the beko brand are on the short list there as well.
How helpful would this review be to a person making a buying decision? Rating guidelines
Quite a good review, it would benefit from paragraphing with line spacings, but I think that it needs a lot more information and detail to justify a higher rating. Washing machine reviews need to go into lots of detail from features to size etc etc It helps if you write every product Review as if you’re writing for someone who has virtually no knowledge of what you’re reviewing, in clear non technical language. You might find it helpful if you read and rate some other peoples’ reviews (especially those that have been rated VH or E). It might give you an idea of the sort of things you need to include. It might also be helpful if you had a look at the Ciao guides to writing Reviews and Rating I found them really useful. If I can be of any help feel free to put a note in my gb. Rich
