Having previously being advised to buy a Beko dishwasher I was rather sceptical about the brand, though this time I was promised that this Beko WMB10W washing machine really was good. I was not disappointed and thus far I have had little problem with it.
Quality/Performance
On paper the WMB10W is a good but not great washing machine, with B ratings for Efficiency and Wash quality and a C for Spin quality. Regardless of the ratings, it performs very well indeed. When using detergents that can be used at low temperature it still washes well, even at 30°. Regular cycles take around 3 hours, with the options for a prewash or a quick wash lengthening or shortening the time taken. There are a multitude of options, including multiple temperatures for cottons, synthetics and woollens. A hand wash and a lone spin cycle are also possible. The spin cycle speed is also customisable for delicates and woollens.
The front loading window is very generous, larger than some other washing machines. In the event of cancelling the start button merely needs to be pressed for a few seconds. Notable to mention is the 90° with prewash, when loaded with oven gloves which were stained with tomato sauce (which had been so for over a year), with only a pinch of detergent and no bleach, at the end of the cycle they were as good as new. It also performs well at low temperatures, however the new detergent from a leading manufacturer which performs at 15° is too low, as the WMB10W washes at 30° at its coldest. It performs very well at all temperatures and I have yet to have any problems with it. 5/5
Ease of Use
It could not be easier to use, like almost all washing machines it accepts liquid and powder detergents as well as fabric conditioner, the tray is easy to read and use. The front loading design is classic and as easy to use as ever. The dials are also clear to read and even the extra features are easy to understand. Overall very easy to use, even for a beginner. 5/5
Durability/Design
This certainly looks like the average, front loading, free standing washing machine. Though despite the looks it is designed well and quality built, the white exterior is scratch resistant and easy to wipe marks off and the front loading window is large, especially in comparison to some other washing machines. The detergent tray is easy to use and easy to clean. The whole washing machine looks good, if a bit standard but is sturdy and will withstand many knocks and everyday use without showing it. 4/5
Noise
The comparative low point of this washing machine is the noise it produces, the regular wash cycle itself is not particularly noisy nor is it quiet. However the spin cycle is noticeably louder than some other washing machines, especially during the last section of the spin cycle, when it is at its fastest and therefore loudest. It is understandable that the spin cycle is loud, however it is louder than many other washing machines which have a faster spin cycle. 2/5
Value for Money
Personally I bought this washing machine for £100 brand new, and for this price it was a bargain, the noise aside, every aspect of this washing machine is great. The reliability of this washing machine set it apart from the rest, it performs excellently repeatedly. Very good value for money, and if you can pick it up for under £100 it is amazing value. 5/5
Cleaning/Maintenance
Cleaning is very straightforward. The tray is easily removed and easily washed to remove the inevitable build-up of fabric conditioner and detergent. If used in a hard water area, limescale remover can be brought and used without fuss provided the useful instruction manual is read and understood. Occasionally the filter needs to be changed, with simply involves ensuring the washing machine is empty, opening a flap, removing a cap and taking out the filter (water may spill out so having something to collect it is handy) The filter merely needs rinsing and the most common build-up, hair, removed and thrown away. Providing the instructions are followed cleaning this washing machine is easy and should not present a problem. 5/5
Reliability
This washing machine is certainly reliable, providing a great wash time and time again. Thus far it has done approximately fifty washes and each time it worked perfectly, especially when washing at low temperatures, regardless of detergent it washes clothes thoroughly every time and the spin cycle ensures minimum drying is required. It has yet to develop a fault and I have full confidence it will not do so. 5/5
Overall
This is a great washing machine despite the average ratings it has on paper. There are varied wash cycles and all perform well, even at low temperatures, though it does not wash as low as 15° as some new detergents can wash at. It is easy to use and very easy to clean and maintain. It will fit in well in any kitchen and despite the comparatively noisy spin cycle, I highly recommend this washing machine. 4/5

Advantages: 14 settings and cheap Disadvantages: NONE
This is the perfect little machine for a young couple just starting there first home! I wanted amachine that could easierly be installed and would last for at least 3 years - an dit is doing just that!
The Cost: I got this machine for £129 in a sale a real bargin - due to its size it fitted into our car with no hassle, however if you do have it delievered it costs about £69 depending on where you buy it.
The Apperance: It is all white, with a twist ... ...the powders. It has a basic design but will fit in with nay style kitchen (another bonus).
The Instruction Manuel: Perfect!! It gives you a guide on how to install the machine yourself (saving more money on paying to have it installed) On the back of the instruction manuel is a table about all the different settings (all 14) which i keep in the draw, you will never need to remeber the settings - the table is brilliant.
The Technology: This machine ...

...Comet I came across this Beko washer and the price was all that mattered to me. Having heard about all the problems washing machines seem to cause when breaking down I knew it was just a matter of hoping for the best and boy have I been rewarded!
Firstly I will say that I live on my own so I have rarely use it more than two or three times a week. But to this very day it has never required any maintenance despite my lack of extra care for it (I don't ... ...reading through the manual and it said I should be cleaning the filter, which is easily accessed by removing the front kick plate at the bottom, every 30-40 washes - something I have never done! As it turned out there was no need either as it was virtually spotless.
The different programs are very easy to understand (all written on the front of the powder draw) and you need only turn the knob to the desired number to start the program. Be careful ...

Advantages: Nice fast cycles Disadvantages: Maybe the energy rating?!
...quite a low opinion of Beko products when I bought this, it was the cheapest (Comet), I was surprised at what a great little washer this is!
Lots of different programs with different temps etc, front opening (always handy!) and has a great quick wash function for when you need items quickly (around 40 mins)!
Quite plain looking but not so it screams 'cheap washing machine' and seems robust.
Very quiet for its price and my clothes are always lovely ...

Advantages: Great price, good quality. Disadvantages: Slightly noisy.
...an online retailer selling this Beko product for less than £160.00 I ordered immediately.
This appliance is not all-singing all-dancing it does not have lots of fancy extras, it simply washes clothes efficiently. The spin speed is 1200rpm (hey, for this price what did you expect?!) and the energy ratings, although not the best, are good for a machine of this price. I can think of only one criticism, and that is that the machine is slightly more ...

Advantages: Cheap, quiet, easy to use, gets the job done! Disadvantages: None that i have come across yet.
I bought this machine from comet online after my old machine died a slow and painful death. It cost £169.88 and included free delivery, however i needed a machine quickly as my kids get filthy really quickly so i paid an extra £15.95 for quick delivery (think it came within 3 days).
On receiving the machine i found it to be quite nice looking (as far as washing machines go) as i expected it to look cheap and tacky as it was the cheapest machine ...
