I bought this monitor for roughly £120 several years ago and it has lasted me very well! It has travelled too and from university with me since i started this year and so has accumulated a few scratches to the case and has been bumped around a bit but it is very reliable! Another great thing with it is that it is incredibly easy to get started with, you connect it to the computer and plug it in at the mains and bobs your uncle! The menu on the computer is easy to use, allowing you to change settings such as colour, brightness, screen size and the positioning of the screen. This can all be controlled through a rather nifty roller like button underneath the front of the screen. The colour of the monitor is also white so fits in with most computer equipment, if you're concerned with that. The only complaints that i have of this monitor is that it is heavy which can be a problem, especially if like me you have a third floor room! It is also quite bulky but it is still small enough to be carried. In conclusion if you are looking for a CRT monitor then this is deffinately a must as it is an affordable alternative to TFT (flat screen) monitors! The refresh rate of the monitor is also moderatly fast having a 60Hz refresh rate!
Advantages: Has a nice clear screen with digital controls Disadvantages: Resolution limitations

the speakers are not very powerful, they are more than adequate for most uses and are certainly more convenient than a set of desktop speakers as they save space and don’t need a separate power source.
The monitor is well made, and for me has been reliable, when I bought it, it was one of the few that met the more stringent European safety requirements concerning radiation emissions (in the case of this one TCO95), and due to the length of time I spend in front of it this was a major consideration.
Overall I have been very pleased with it and I would certainly consider another Belinea model when I upgrade. ...
