from everyday scratches and scuffs. The case is made of soft, durable leather in a fashionable persimmon/bone color scheme. It features a soft-suede interior with a subtle honeycomb design embossed on it for a distinctive and classy look. The sides and the back of the iPod are covered by leather to prevent unsightly scratches. The Leather Folio features a wallet-style flap design, and a leather flap covers the face when it is not being used. A magnetic closure keeps the flap securely closed. The click-wheel and screen are protected by clear plastic and are fully accessible for navigation and video viewing. The hold switch and dock connector remain fully accessible as well so you never have to take your iPod out of the case. The sleek design of the Leather Folio lets you slip your iPod right into your pocket or purse without a lot of added bulk. The Belkin Leather Folio for iPod classic is backed by Belkin's Lifetime Warranty.

Price wise, I couldn't remember what they cost me, so after a very brief look around the internet, I found the 5-pack of these cases, on Amazon, for £19.99, which to me seems awfully high, but you can buy "Used & New" for £11.49... so you may wish to look elsewhere for these.
So to avoid any scratches or pieces being chipped off, these cases are the excellent companion to the Shuffle...recommended?? Oh yes!...

...When I got my new iPodclassic a few months ago, I decided I definitely needed a case to protect my new baby from scratches and getting broken rattling around in my bag.
I opted for this smart case from Belkin, in a pretty light/bright green colour. I bought it on Amazon Marketplace and at the time it was some ridiculous price like 1p plus p&p from Germany of around £7. So overall pretty cheap as far as iPod accessories go. It is now for sale directly from Amazon for £13.99 or on Amazon Marketplace from £10. Aside from the green I chose, the case comes in black, silver, clear, blue, pink and probably more which weren't available where I bought mine. For the coloured versions, the front is coloured brushed aluminium with the back clear acrylic.
The version I bought was made specifically for the new iPodclassic 80 and 160GB models...

Advantages: Clean, Tough, Looks very well built Disadvantages: Expensive, have to remove to charge, slightly gets in the way of the hold button
...When I purchased my Ipod nano, I have heard plenty about how easily they are damaged so I made sure along side its purchase I ordered a case. I chose this on because it was a Belkincase which I like that brand. It also was white to match the Ipod and it also looked quite appealing to me for my tastes.
Unfortunately the case was quite expensive coming in at about 15 pounds from the apple website but at least I was pleased to se it came with a "free/something to make it seem like your money was well spent" screen protector. The protector itself is a little film of plastic that is non-adhesive so it does not stick to your screen for easy removal.
The case is made of nice looking quality leather. It is stitched so it's not just cheaply glued together. The inside is very soft and smooth so it is not to scratch the delicate mirror...
