For Christmas my husband bought me a new mobile phone. A SiemensC35i, it is very light and small compared to my old phone a Philips Diga. The C35i display has icons for Network signal, Battery Charge, date and time using the 24-hour clock, and your network provider, mine is BT Cellnet.
You have two selector buttons, which correspond to options on the display. The book icon allows you to view your address book and if you double click on it the V.I.P. address book is viewed (you can not double into your V.I.P address book when sending messages, which is quite annoying). The Green Phone icon allows you to pick up calls etc… and the Red phone icon allows you to reject calls and to go back while using the menu bars, a long press of the Red phone button turns the phone off.
Underneath these are all the numbers.

I have just upgraded my old Ericsson handset to a SiemensS35i and am very pleased with my purchase. The Siemens is much lighter, includes a Wap browser, a vibrate alert and voice dial facility. I find that the text messaging facility is easy to use and that you can link the display graphics to incoming calls so that a different picture comes up on screen for each caller. The phone comes with a long battery life and offers 200-300 minutes talktime. It also has a phonebook, an organiser and a voice memo with an alarm. I have maintained my connection to BT Cellnet although I believe that this particular phone also comes with Vodafone, Virgin or One 2 One. ...

SiemensC35i
Introduction
I got this phone simply because it could do so many thins more than my last, a nokia 5110. And for £70 on BT Cellnet, in my opinion the best network at the moment, it was a real good deal, especially as it looked so smart, and was so small. (And you get £5 free calling credit)
Good Points
Some of the better things on the phone are the wee handy features like: *it vibrates, useful for school but can take a wee bit getting used to, *it has a ring tone composer, *200 names & phone numbers (100 on the sim card, 100 on phone), *predictive text messaging, *auto key lock, *and most of all WAP compatible. The phone is half as light as my 5110, at only 79g!! It’s also more or less half as thin and about 1/4th shorter. I must say I couldn’t not buy it!
