I bought this for plugging in my computer because the power supply I had to buy did not include one. There isn't much to say on a power cable so this is about all I could think of. My main reasons for choosing this where because I knew Belkin is a very respectable brand for when it comes to electronicconnector cables and its length suited my needs perfectly. I found that the cable fits very snugly into the back of my computer so that when it gets knocked about for some reason (kicking from mad frustration during games :) ) then it does not fall out. It is easily strong enough to hold its own weight in so it doesn't pull itself out- which is a problem one of my crappy computer monitors was having. This caused me to buy a second one for my computer monitor as I was overall 100% pleased with this one. It has never failed me causing in a computer shutdown. The cable is 1.8 metres long and is standard British voltage. It has earth connector for keeping your computer safe incase of a shock and the usual positive and negative. The end for going into your computer on this one is Female which in case you don't understand it has three holes in it where the "male" end has three prongs sticking out... Suppose a bit of common sense could figure that out :)
The cables can be purchased for about 3-5£ I think. It has been I while since I have got one. I bought mine off of Amazon.com. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a power cable.

You muppet, all you need to do is to go along to your work's IT department and cadge one, most techs end up throwing binfulls of these away every year. There's ten in my car now, i had a clear out at my last job and we threw away three tea-chest fulls! no way should you pay more than a quid, if you can't get one for nothing. As for make, they are all the same, believe me!
