Advantages: Works perfectly, Fits Snug, Lengthy enough Disadvantages: None
I bought this for plugging in my computer because the power supply I had to buy did not include one. There isn't much to say on a powercable so this is about all I could think of.
My main reasons for choosing this where because I knew Belkin is a very respectable brand for when it comes to electronic connector cables and its length suited my needs perfectly.
I found that the cable fits very snugly into the back of my computer so that when it gets knocked about for some reason (kicking from mad frustration during games :) ) then it does not fall out. It is easily strong enough to hold its own weight in so it doesn't pull itself out- which is a problem one of my crappy computer monitors was having. This caused me to buy a second one for my computer monitor as I was overall 100% pleased with this one. It has never failed me causing in ...
Advantages: Improves the graphical quality of games, Cheaper than the official cable. Disadvantages: I suppose some people will unfairly compare the Wii and the 360/PS3 graphics and be disappointed?
appreciate the increase in graphical quality when the componentcable is used. Top notch!

Look and Feel
It feels as you would expect really, though it does strike me as being heavy for a cable. One end slots into the Wii and the other has 5 plugs to go into the 5 sockets available on the pack of newer TVs. It is identical in colour to the rest of the Wii cables, being a medium matt grey colour. If being plugged into the back of a TV, it needs to be 3-4 inches away from the wall at least, as the wires come back quite a bit from the TV and it would be unwise to bend them too much. There isn?t really much to see or feel, tough it is a shame it sticks out from the TV so much, more so than some other cables, meaning your TV has to be pushed away from the wall quite a bit.

Advantages: Far better picture than standard composite, better looking games Disadvantages: Expensive, Only needed for larger screens 32" or greater
After the release of the little white bundle of joy on the 8/12/2006 people were given a composite cable to show off their new shinny new console.
AV enthusiasts all know a composite signal is the poor quality option for showing video on their TV's - what people really want is RGB or Component video input.
As console manufactures are out to make a profit they usually bundle the cheapest and most compatible option with the console and then release upgrades to that product for people who need or want it. Nintendo understand this and have released two video upgrade options - the Wii RGB cable or the Wii Componentcable.
Lets get things straight from the off, The Nintendo Wii is not a High Definition Console, What this cable does offer is a enhanced image resolution of 480p.
I finally got hold of the component video cable after ...
