Advantages: Lots of tools to cover a multitude of jobs. Disadvantages: Cheap feeling screwdriver.
There are lots of little jobs that need to be performed in IT and many of them are hardware related. These jobs range from fitting additional memory to complete motherboard replacements.
But whatever you are about to do to your PC, you are going to need specifit tools for the job. So I figured I would wade in and give you a bit more info into a lifesaver of a product for the budget concious IT people out there.
Yes, im talking about the Belkin 36 piece professional ToolKit for IT.
Packaging/Casing.
All 36 items are housed in a neat little zip up wallet that is the size of a child's shoe box. Its Faux leather appearance is fooling no one! Its water resistant and well made.
Inside the components are all retained by elastic straps and velcro so it is a very secure and tidy way to carry your tools.

Advantages: It's got everything you need to do basic PC upgrades/ maintenance Disadvantages: Good enough for home use, but not top quality
Everything in the kit is of reasonable quality - it might not last forever, but it's good enough, especially for the price.
Just in case you're hunting round the 'net, trying to find what's included:
- Wire strippers (the cheap kind, not very good)
- Chip tongs
- double-ended screwdriver with "medium" flat + crosshead
- syringe tweezer thingamy's (very useful for picking up dropped screws)
- needlenose pliers
- normal tweezers
- "electrical size" flat- and cross-head double-end screwdriver
- 2-way + locking Ratchet handle, plus socket fittings for Allen key/ flat and cross head and spanner pieces
- Anti-static wristband (no use for fat wrists!)
- pill-boxes for grub screws, etc., with some odds and ends included
- a set of Allen keys.

Thanks to Belkin, I am now the proud system administrator of a large number of PC's.... 2 to be precise!! I made my original purchase of the Belkin home network starter kit from PC World with disastrous results (please see my separate opinion for PC World)
The kit comprises of 2 10/100 Ethernet cards, 25ft of cable and all the software needed to make installation easy and painless. This includes Belkin 'Netshare' and Belkin 'Netsetup'. During installation I found it necessary to contact the company's product support help line due to the fact that I am sometimes a Pratt and occasionally find it difficult to read the simplest of instructions!! The technical support line was, for a change, a national telephone number and the call lasted only about 2 minutes. The person at the other end of the line was very human and promptly forwarded ...
